Never change a winning team, unless injuries &/or suspensions enforce changes.

Full credit to boycey in coming out with it straight away. So many people who experience depression suffer in silence & the end result is usually tragic. Things are getting better, but much more is still needed.

Exactly! I voted to remain & have always voted labour. But in all honesty, I dont see the point of voting ever again in any election. Lost confidence in all of them whichever the party.

I am Wigan born & bred egg but have become a runcornian the past 15 years.

Edward’s,I live within a 5 minute walk to runcorn town FC. I have only ever watched the last 20 mins of a game & got in for free. Yes! The standard was terrible. But what I did witness during my brief view was 22 “honest” footballers just playing for their pure love of the game.

Maybe wrong but isn’t it 17 consecutive league away games with 14 defeats and 3 draws,18 if you include the defeat at West Brom in the cup. That’s a damning stat…..or Rosie’s on and we’ve been unlucky with injuries, poor refs.etc ,etc..yawn.!!!

Why do you never mention our excellent home form?
For the record we have the 5th best home form in the league.

Because it sounds as if he wants the club he claims to support (& probably likens to & has the expectations of a real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester city even) to fail, so he can come on here to say “told you so!” If he is that negative a supporter I honestly don’t know why he bothers.

And what’s relevant to football and Wigan athletic to what’s happened in New Zealand and Africa??

It’s a little like this Laticssince. It’s only football. Whatever happens in football is totally unimportant to some of the terrible things that happen all over the planet.
Here here!

Realistic target with our squad ? Comfortable mid table….17 aways 3 points.!!! Really ..was that included in your expectations??… Key players,Massey,Grigg,Powell return from injury(a regular excuse for underperforming according to Barn door and fat arse)…only to sit on the bench.Negative tactics and don’t start on signings…..

B0110cks! Let me remind you once again. Realistic target was SURVIVAL for this season. No arguments! Then next season, the goal was to push on & aim for higher.

At the start of this season, I would have said we were on course for a mid – top half table finish. Then, bang! Injuries came along. Lose 1 or 2 & you can usually get by. Lose the amount of players we did (& the injuries happened to ALL our key attackers) & it kind of upsets the applecart, the balance, structure, playing style of the team & the players brought in who perhaps aren’t as good as the starting 11. Cookie went from nice attacking football to I admit, Warren Joyce kind of football.

Now however, players are returning from injury & have been back for what, 3 – 4 games now. They will have no doubt improved their match fitness game by game, so with 8 games remaining, we might just have got them back at the right time.

However, as we now find ourselves towards the bottom, that little bit of added pressure probably affects the players at times, knowing one mistake can be apocalyptic. Now is the time for the players & cookie to get our full support, including yourself Mr Brownbill.

Luv it…..heard f### all from you after Rovers. In fact heard f***all from your fat trap after all the defeats. You have very low expectations to be happy with the shit pile we’ve watched but that doesn’t surprise as you’re a swallowed. No capitals needed..fact.

Might I remind you AGAIN that our goal this season was to STAY in this league, however we achieve that goal.

Is only half the man he used to be, the other half is biscuit!

This is just a test that the site is still working.

Where is all the angst and doom?

You want to come on here following a defeat. Our “usual doom-monger suspects” (& you’ll get to know who they are), will usually be on here IMMEDIATELY after the game posting their usual cr@p! Win a game however, & they usually remain quiet.

    Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

Enjoy the win, & hopefully it will be a kick-start to our survival.

And we should hold them to bart-bart. Shit v shit but they are perhaps a tad shitter so although we are shit we may just edge them but we may just sit on the bart-bart from the kick off. Passed bothering now after this shit fest of a season.
