Not being funny, but why would anyone else think they were on sale today when the announcement clearly says “Buy tickets online from Friday at 9.00am here, in person at the DW Stadium Ticket Office or call 0871 66 33 552*”

Maybe because i hadn’t seen it online.

Spot on tez. I didnt like the fact that the city game was on monday night, especially having to travel to & fro my neck of the woods. But i am so glad i attended the game & witnessed one of the greatest nights in our history. It would not have been the same watching on tv.

Well i’ve just been chatting to a blackburn fan, albeit on messenger, & he reckons our squad is the stongest in the division.

I myself have been in attendance since the west ham game.

Donny. The man city game was on telly, but we still attracted a decent crowd.

Nah! I think we’ll have a decent sized crowd again. At least 15000 wiganers.

Is nobody taking notice of what I’ve said. The game is planned for 2:30pm on Sunday. GM police are not happy that the half marathon, 5K and 1k races are taking place that day in Wigan so police resources are being stretched. With the poor publicity the old bill got for the City game, they are desperate for the game to be moved to another day. Who will win, GMP or the FA?

Well you were wrong! ;) Didn’t take a rocket scientist to predict it was going to be on the Sunday! ;)
He was only a hour out TBF!

Who’d have thought that little wigan was going to be a team that everyone wants to beat.

Wigan Athletic. The biggest small club in the country.

This german shepherd keeps pooping on my lawn every morning. It was worse today, he brought his dog with him.

I would say proudly that nobody has ever matched our story. From non league to Europe, league cup final and what is sometimes missed is that we actually went 2 seasons without losing an F A cup game. Losing on penalties in the semi is hardly being beat and as a championship club. Obviously the massive clubs are successful and win more but non of them have done it from where we started from. The biggest little club in the world is simply the greatest story ever told.

    Proud as can be.

    100% agree!

I heard a rumour we were sunday 2pm kick off.

Winning it from league 1 and looking at the sides left in it, semi finalists would be spurs chelsea and united probably, would have to be the best cup win in history. Yes I would love that to happen but if I am honest I would swap Monday for a win Saturday.

The cup run has been superb but it’s a bonus and nothing more. We have to be playing Championship football next season.

I’d love a semi final with leicester, swansea & ourselves in it. I think that would be good for football like that time when pompey played cardiff in the final. I also wouldn’t mind a semi final draw against rochdale, but that one might be asking for too much.

The problem last time was bad managers more than the players mainly WJ

Totally agree with that. Caldwell went mega defensive for some reason. & the least we say about joyce the better.
We were conceding goals for fun. He went defensive but it stifled our attack and Grigg went from 6 in 5 games to not scoring in about 20.

Joyce righly played damage limitation in December and looked to have turned the corner in January and then reverted back after the Utd game.
Where we egg! I recall only getting beat by the odd goal in games. I do feel caldwell could have been a bot more daring. Plus his signings were questionable as well.
