Very good & vital win yesterday despite the slow start. We grew into the game after they hit the bar & we had our first penalty claim denied. Only one winner in the 2nd half & I honestly cannot recall a Charlton attack in the 2nd period.

If Cook couldn’t succeed at Ipswich, I think he will suffer more at Sunderland. If I were him I’d avoid.

No way was Shinnie negative. You can see why he was voted Derby player of the season. Yes he faded in the second half, but so too did many others. But he did all the simple stuff so effectively. This was his first game in over a month. When he has found his feet I’m confident you’ll see a player of decent quality.

Food for thought how the substitutions changed the game for us. We definitely looked stronger with Lang out wide and a target man to aim at.

That’s what we probably need to revert back to. Although I’d be willing to try Humphrys behind Keane.

Absolutely over the moon with how this season is panning out. Especially as I was someone who would have settled for mid table mediocrity at the start. Only latics could do this. What a club!

Lang, Keane, Power, Whatmough or Naylor for me.

Extend the season by 2 weeks

Very much doubt it as this season is finishing at the end of April. There will be plenty of Saturday – Tuesday games coming up.

I personally wouldn’t mind having both in midfield. Both have qualities the other doesn’t have.

Who said it was a dig

The problems with clubs like Ipswich & even your very own Sunderland is that they think they are bigger & better than what they actually & realistically are. I think even the likes of Klopp & Pep would struggle at said clubs.

See! Told you all it wouldn’t be a repeat of Chorley

I was only thinking this myself too. But was wondering if this was the lowest attendance ever at the DW.

I can see the likes of Jamie Jones, Gavin Massey, Jordan Jones, Edwards, Humphreys, Robinson starting with a few youth thrown in. Some of the first team will be on the bench just incase of a potential banana skin. But I’m gonna stick my neck out & say this will not be a repeat of Chorley ;-)

It looked a perfect goal to me. Only disallowed due to Lincoln players watching the big screen. VAR is not used in L1 therefore once the goal has been given, it should have stood. I hope as a result the referee & linesmen are suspended for at least the next game.

win on Tuesday we will resume our rightful place in the table :good:

Why is it our rightful place? Nobody has the God-given right to be top – not even the so called bigger clubs.

But going back top would be nice mind you!
