I sit in the south with my brother and the kids, i brought some wigan born everton fans from work as well on the cheap tkts, i must say the noise from the east was great even the south and west were up, reminded me of days gone bye, pity not many know you are my sunshine which used to be belted out time & time again over and over.
The everton fans thought we should have won and commented on the good atmosphere, also said scotland wouldnt score in a brothel with a £50 hanging out his pocket, even the nuetral can see we play good football but to no effect, which amounts to nothing, whats bobby and co looking at.

When we beat Burnley, I thought that was it. But although being a big factor, decided nothing.
I think the Portsmouth game will be huge and not just because of the points as they are still available.
If we lose to Portsmouth and put up a poor show, the team and may be for the first time the manager, we know will face a chorus of abuse.
We need to win this game to avoid this.

two hopes – bob and none.

Portsmouth to win it 2-0, with a hard fought pride filled performance, while the rabbit in the headlights martinez pretends he is concerned on the touchline.

Then you will all be on here, saying, 4 games left, its still in our hands etc etc etc.

We will be the next Bradford City under Martinez’s guidance. Dont sack him now, at final whistle at Chelsea tell him to make his own way home.
may as well curl up and die, dont bother going the game pal, dont look at the result and dont comment on the game afterwards.

it must run in the spanish nature, benitez aint got a clue either.

And people wonder why the folk of Wigan are regarded as racist and xenophobic.
please explain why this is racist and xenophobic, and who are the people who think this, seems to me your the type of person people speak about, politically correct over the top type that is intent on ruining this country.

Martinez who i support fully, has to get real with his substitutes, which prem manager would take of his striker and bring on a 2nd rate slow championship midfielder, defo had a major impact on tonights result.

We went from an attacking side threatening with every forward move to a very nervous side, lucky to get a draw in the end, thanks to Kirkland.

Kirkland 8
boyce 7
caldwell 7
bramble 8
fig 6- learn to jump when going for an header
n,zogbia 10
diame 7
mcarthey 8- pity he had to go off
sharner 6 shocking 2nd half, we play in blue sharner
hugo 7 would have been 10 if that overhead had gone in
scotland 7 best game so far for me, must go forward more, stop the sideways shit when on the attack

If you’re comparing Scotland to Heskey, your knowledge of football leaves a lot to be desired.
Even with Heskey, he had someone at the side of him.
Scotland’s rubbish and our formation is as bad.

spot on,its the formation thats wrong, definatley not helping any striker who plays up front on his own, scotland isnt the best, most of us can compare him to strikers weve seen before,Jones,Howarth,Barlow,Ellington,Roberts,he just doesnt compare. We have to play 4-4-2 with any striker,if we play moses up front on his own will he suddenly become a bad buy ???

I’ll have a moan.

On Match of The Day, do Shearer and Hansen nip out for a fag when Wigan are on?

I’ve taken the yellow water before about our supporters’ paranoia regarding the media, but hang on a minute, even a ‘Yes, a good win for Wigan’ from Shearer would have done.

Instead, we get a focus on the ref’s position for the first goal, and then that bloke from the Walkers Crisps adverts (he’s not even a footballer for Christ’s sake) announcing that one of our players has won the goal of the month.

Dear BBC, this is simply not good enough.

I agree we get no positive comment from MOTD , but to say gary lineker wasnt a footballer,,,, did you never watch England late 80`s/90`s, get yourself on you tube pal, i cant stand the bloke either but he knew were the net was, cant argue with that.

I totally oppose the idea of 7 or 8, or even 9 or 10 year olds being “signed up” by anyone.

Let them play football for God’s sake.

Let them dribble, shoot, and everything else that age does when playing football naturally with their mates. Far far far too young to be “Centre of Excellence”

The parents are living THEIR dream, not the kid’s

spot on, as a coach of a local u12s team, whom ive had since u9, ive got to say the so called centres of excellence are the bane of my life.every year they fill parents heads with dreams that will never happen whilst the child doesnt get to play football every sat/sun with the mates hes grown up with.Wigan are the worst.!!!!!!

We were rubbish, West Ham were rubbish, the game was rubbish and boring. May be that was why we were last.

sorry pal your wrong. we were rubbish against wolves man ure and b,pool, 2nd half v everton we were decent and should have won, against west ham we were far better, ok we not seeing the type of long ball big man tactics from the last few years which has had its dividends but we are getting used to playing it on the ground more, keeping possession, using a patient build up, its not perfect yet, its a new system, but its getting better.
I do believe Gomez is not good enough, too slow and not strong enough for the position hes asked to play in, at home we should be playing 2 up front, if not play sinclaire wide, bin Gomez and play Koumas in the Gomez role.
just my thoughts…..

Agreed, except keep the tactics, football on the ground as it should be, but also try sinclaire and edman with a 1st 11 place, we need a new right back, mario is a good player and has been a good servant but times catching him up.After watching the 1st 3 games i,d go for,
