Struggle to watch a full England game nowadays got switched over to Family Guy half way through second half last night…
Reminds me of when there were rumours we might take a punt on Goater …
Saying that it puts it in to perspective how far we have come as a club since then…
Anyway we are not talking about Fabregas or anyone world class were talking about a player who cant get a game for team I am expecting to finish below us this season!! and were talking about the guy who spat in arguably one of our best ever players faces!!!!!!
f3ck him !!! :angry-boxing:
I wasn’t being negitive on Gomez, just saying he ain’t a winger. I thought his game on Saturday was good and to be fair, young Jimmy Mac wil struggle to reclaim that spot if Gomez carries on (and why would you change it). He did fade towards the end before he was subbed. There were a few mistakes and lack of willingness to make the tackle but he had put a shift in for the first 60 minutes.
keep it up and he can become a latics legend.
He will never be a Latics legend as long as you have a hole in your arris !! He is Championship standard at best accept it !! I don’t boo him or get on his back but I do sit there thinking ” What the fcuk is RM doing starting him every game ” !!!
no pleasing some people …
I think as far as our players go Rodallega is a happy chappy….
Hopefully he will sign a new contract!
I think he showed at QPR he can do just as well on the left for us as anywhere else and with Di Santo finding his scoring feet long may it continue!!!
Bellamy – to drop a 110K contract and fit into our wage structure? no chance!
Wright-Phillips – crap!
Barton – good player and I think he would do fantastic for us! although I think his wages would be around 50-60k and if we cant afford that for Charles we deffo wont be handing it out to toe rag joe…..
IN BOBBY WE TRUST!!!!!

lets see how it goes eh..
Alright Griff calm down pal. All i saw was that he was signing for Kiev and thought he woulda been a good signing…. Tryna burst my bubble do you actually have a comment about the player? As these 2 burks have gone off on 1!
:)
From what I recall, he always seemed quite a reasonable player to me. Wouldn’t be disappointed if we signed him but he’s not exactly a “get out the tissues and crack one off” type of signing is he?
We dont really sign the sort of players to have solid reputations / proven ability to perform though do we….
Julius Agahowa????
come on leeds good luck saturday hope they win against
the tolerated trespasser’sShouldn’t this be in the non football related section?
Add Ian Herbert from the Independent,The first paragraph in this story still winds me up.
“On the face of things, Roberto Martinez did not have much to turn his back on at Wigan. The club’s training ground is in a place called Lower Standing and there’s a rather harsh irony about that because Premier League clubs just don’t stand much lower than Wigan on a number of key criteria.”
Bit of a typical comment but just skimmed the rest of the article and its actually pretty good and fair… :shifty:
