By the way, on this network, I can’t actually see the picture that Salford posted but, as he is a mate of mine, and someone with whom I have a mutually respectful relationship, I guess he’s probably not really having a pop at me.

I can understand the criticsim of Beausejour as his weaknesses are there to be seen.
None the less its hard to come across players who will get the ball into the box as many times as he will for you.
With Holt more aggressive in the air than any of the forwards we had under the previous manager and it looking like we will have more players in the box when attacking under Coyle he is an option that could be very useful to us this year!
Problem is if the referees are on the pitch making wrong decisions and someone sat watching on a television screen can see it clear as day then when does it become common sense to have that referee sat in front of the TV instead of flogging it around the pitch sometimes missing events completely?
I don’t think the game is ready for it yet but as technology improves the modern game should take advantage of it instead of ignoring opportunities to improve refereeing that has been under criticism for years.

What the fuck has the completely out of context stupid and exorbitant transfer fees got to do with my window cleaning round ? I personally think that McCarthy is overrated and certainly not worth £15m ! He is a decent player and is of Prem standard but is not worth £15m. I think my figure is more realistic, watch this space ! :blink:[/quote]

It took three years for most people to get to grips with the concept of a front three under our previous manager.
Never fails to amuse me when people come on criticising the message board like it some sort of entertainment service or TV show up for review.

I think he is of similar ilk to McCarthy in he looks comfortable going forward or sitting deep.
I am sure there will be plenty of opportunities for him to show what he can do this season.
