It’s strange that a big chunk of that money was spent on that rubbish that is Keifer Moore who is a total hero in Wales. To the extent that some fans want to erect a statue of him in Cardiff.

We should sell Moore to a Prem club for £40m and spend that money on two decent strikers and a defender.

I mean, Naismith is getting the blame again from some angles yet he wasn’t anywhere near the 3rd goal.

Every team needs a scapegoat. It would have been Naismith’s fault even if he hadn’t come on.

What is poverty Sammy? How is it measured?

Try going to fullfact.org for a comprehensive answer to your question. However, I’m wondering why you have asked the question? Are you suggesting Priti Patel has a point?
Fuck me Sammy lad after checking fullfact.org I am in in poverty. Shit me. That means I shouldn’t be able to afford my mortgage. I shouldn’t have the static caravan in Cumbria. Jesus how do I run a car? I l can’t afford a takeaway and how the hell I have the money spare to spend on Latics match tickets?
Are you suggesting there is no poverty in the UK?

Priti Patel saying poverty isn’t the fault of Westminster.

                Priti Patel

Home Secretary Priti Patel tells BBC Political Reporter Nina Warhurst that high levels of poverty can't be blamed solely on the government. She was visiting Barrow-in-Furness where, according to Cumbria County Council, central wards of the town are some of the most deprived in the country.

Seriously all this armageddon talk when we leave is nonsense. DHL one of the biggest logistics company’s in Britain is German the Kermits own most of the toll bridges and most other EU countries all rely on trade and industry with Britain. Far from it being a disaster that once again the despicable lying politicians are making it out to be.

No one is suggesting it will be Armageddon, even if we leave without a deal, but anyone who thinks it will not have a negative impact is living in cloud cuckoo land.

One thing I am sure of is that however we leave the EU the poorest in society will suffer the most and the Tories, UKIP and rich Brexiteers (as opposed to the deluded ones) will not care one jot.

The debate last night was a let down. If only Corbyn had replied to Johnson’s repeated question “which side will you take on your proposed Brexit referendum”. The best (IMHO) reply he could have given is “A Labour Government will not campaign either way as it is for the people to decide and we will implement their decision immediately afterwards

The people have already decided and he has blocked all efforts to implement it for the last three years.
Not true because he did vote to trigger Article 50. He and many others including ardent Brexiterrs voted against the May deal because it was worse than remaining and Johnson’s deal was arguably no better than May’s.
But the people voted to leave and they all knew what they were voting for and that wasn’t to be worse off.

Corbyn is being deliberately non-committal on the Brexit issue.

I believe we could have one of the best forwards outside the greed league in Moore if used correctly.

                          If Moore is used correctly?

Poor Moore…..Cook supporters fall guy. I agree has missed sitters but I’m pretty sure that Cook didn’t sign him as a pure goal scorer and target man !!!! Think youd have to pay 10 times what we payed for that. His main roll is to make space for others but those others have largely underperformed. His continual selection of Jacob’s,negative set up and substitutions underlines that Moore really isn’t the issue here…..deflecting the blame to Moore is pathetic. Don’t think he was with us last season???…..and still zero improvement. It’s a simple one…..under the present manager we will continue to free fall and the owners may act when it really is too late. But remember Big Roy…let’s crush any ambition because league 1 is our level !!!!

I find it perplexing how supporters can vilify certain players, Naismith for example, and defend others by offering excuses and deflecting blame on to others yet admit he has “missed sitters”.

Moore’s main role is to score goals. Sorry for stating the obvious but it seems the obvious has somehow evaded this poster’s view.

We’d all better vote Conservative then seeing as we have a racist, sexist, homophobic, serial liar in charge. I can plainly see they have your best interests at heart.
Sammy, you have just pointed out the very reason I feel I should not vote ever again. Not one of them come out of this mess with any credit.
Many people feel the same way as you which will make this election interesting but will not necessarily change anything.

It was more than just an opinion poll GL. Cameron had promised to hold a referendum in an attempt to silence his own Tory MPs and the emerging UKIP who were arguing the case for leaving the EU.

Cameron never thought the vote would go against him but six years of austerity and antagonistic claims such as “we’re all in this together” when it was affecting the poorest the most had angered many people and the referendum was the perfect vehicle for them to make a protest.

As you rightly point out a split vote was never going to solve anything, whichever way it went, which is why we have had this shit-storm for the last three years and will continue for many years to come.
