Can somebody enlighten me to what this game is about?
Wigan are losers aren’t they, St Helens should be the ones playing the Brisbane Bummers or whoever
Its a pre-season friendly for the Australian side and the game attracts no points, no medals, no trophies.
It counts for nothing, yet the biggest sport in the world featuring one of the most well-known sides in the world gets shunted aside to make way for a little-old rugby friendly.
Now, run along and make sure you keep the pitch in good nick for the main event of the weekend. ;)
This fixture change has got nothing to do with which club or sport takes precedence, Sky decided.
Two studies published in 2013 and 2014 have found that people who are identified as trolls tend to have dark personality traits and show signs of sadism, antisocial behavior, psychopathy, and machiavellianism.Better watch out before I start bring my axe to games, with a ‘Do you know Sammy t-shirt’ on :woohoo:
The man protests too much which makes me feel a tiny bit uncomfortable by that.
 here we go, had a sherbert?
You’d think I didn’t want us to win. Did you watch it?
Of course I know you wanted us to win but with every defeat you get so carried away and spout vicious tirades against Malky instead of realising that this rot which has gone through the club set in long before he arrived. You give him dogs abuse for Delort but forget that Rosler did not pick him yet it was he who signed him.
It’s Dave’s way of going about things on here. He’ll belligerently argue, twist your comments to suit his own, always have the last say and generally piss people off. Eventually when enough people turn on him he’ll go into melt-down and disappear for a while. He then reincarnates himself and starts all over again.
11 mins 49 seconds added.Six yellow cards to us, one to them.
It seems that not only the Premier League are against us.
We are vulnerable to such actions, if you believe in this kind of conspiracy that is. It’s not like Whelan or Mackay or in any kind of position to complain without damaging the club or their reputations further.
On a point of clarity and to avoid confusion it is:-
Malky Mackay (manager)
Billy Mckay (player)Very dangerous course of action taking people to court for slander or libel. That’s why it’s generally the preoccupation of the rich who can become considerably less rich should they lose.
Egg, I don’t expect you to know anything about football.
Delort and Riera is, was and always will be a better option than Clarke and McKay and that is as simple as I could ever put it. 1 game or 100 games it doesn’t matter.
I’m blue in the face now over how poorly our players have been utilised in the last few months by 2 managers and their staff.
That’s the bit I struggle with.
How do you know that is the case?
I saw more of Delort and Riera than I’ve seen of Clarke and McKay and I didn’t rate either of them.
I didn’t rate them either. They also cost about £5m between them.
Then again I don’t expect to know anything about football…!
I also understand his man management skills left a lot to be desired with rumours of dressing-room unrest. His comment in that “resignation speech” after the Bolton game where he publically stated that some who featured that night would have to wait a long time before they played for him again would seem to suggest all was not well
I actually agreed with that part of his interview.
The point I was making is if his man-management skills were up to the mark he wouldn’t have said that publically. But he was in melt-down mode so maybe he already knew he was in for the chop.
Not scoring and now leaking goals by the bucket load with the form just getting worse both home and away.
Club struggling home and away? Oh great its wigan arhletic next and three easy points and a nice leg stretch!
The club has become a complete shambles in my view and sacking rosler now looks like the worst decision made at the club in many a year.
Bottom of the barrel to be reached when we hit league 2 !I suggest Rosler was sacked for two reasons.
The first was his woeful signings which totalled about £11m (net outlay about £4m after McArthur was sold). Of those in which a fee was paid only Huws and Forshaw featured on a regular basis, with Delort and Riera hardly starting at all after the initial few games in which they were tried. It seems both Rosler and Mackay thought they weren’t good enough but it was Rosler who signed them both and for good money.
The second reason was the interview he gave after the Bolton game when twice asked how he was going to turn things around said, “I don’t know”.
I also understand his man management skills left a lot to be desired with rumours of dressing-room unrest. His comment in that “resignation speech” after the Bolton game where he publically stated that some who featured that night would have to wait a long time before they played for him again would seem to suggest all was not well.
I hardly think things could have been any worse had Rosler stayed but it was the right decision to sack him.
Mackay and the fuss that surrounded his appointment does look like the worst decision made at the club in many a year.
Is the game that bad that you are all on your smartphones commenting on whats going on in front of your eyes?Yes
Time malky went now nothing as improved very poorPaul Lambert is available.
Cant believe your calling kvist he is to good for us he is a top player and very rarely gives the ball away
Really ? I think you should watch the game or the at the least the TV highlights, his fairy arse jump for knockdown header challenge was to blame for the 3rd and McCann doing his strictly come prancing for the 2nd.
He might be ok at holding the onto the ball granted but then passing and winning the ball back ? he is utter dog turd.
If your midfield is crap it just means the defence are under always under the cosh and the forwards get nothing
If you are going to single out any player for not being good enough William Kvist should be last on the list.
Have I missed something?
Bournemouth were good as befits their league position but I didn’t think they were anything special and certainly no better than Middlesbrough, except for possessing a striker who scored two goals from the three chances he had.
The first goal was offside, the second rank bad decision making plus our keeper being beaten on his near post and the third a repeat of what had been attempted 30 seconds earlier. In other words, rank bad defending.
If that near post chance had gone in at 1-3 it would have made for an interesting last 25 minutes which would have been a better test of how good Bournemouth are.
Yes quality, or lack of.
If I was Pearce I’d be a mightily disappointed not to be starting in front of Barnett.
