May think I’m nit picking but after seeing Itv highlights am I alone in thinking Amos should have done better with their goal ? It was a good height…..and seemed to go right through him.

That was my initial thought as well but on replay he was very close and hit it very well. The 2 defenders (Caulker and Nyambe i think) both got sold too easily and allowed a predominantly left footed player to get set on his left foot

Hats off to everyone one of them for turning up and giving everything they got.

Agree with CW. Terribly negative 1st half, game changed when Lang came on and then Magennis. Enjoyable 2nd half to watch.

I really believe we are a better team with Naylor in the side

Yes stupid sending off but he’s only a kid and far bigger and better players have done the same and worse in the past.

I actually think the Caulker header was a better chance. He headed it straight down the middle when a foot either side was a goal. I’m not a Fletcher fan but I actually give credit to the keeper for the save.

I agree something doesn’t feel quite right but I’ve got to believe and hope they still have the club at heart. I’ve got to believe that by releasing the statements it means they aren’t throwing the towel in.

I just don’t understand why they weren’t done before the game. Poor Maloney looked absolutely shattered before and after the game. He deserves better than this

When I say “reported” it hasn’t come from official sources.

It’s probably from social media, but still very worrying to read

Now being reported that the club haven’t been able to contact Mr Al Jasmin or Talal for the last 2 weeks.

Safe to say we are fuck@d

Everyone presuming a 3 point deduction but I reckon the fact we also seem to have ignored the sanction of having 125% of the wages on stand by will mean the EFL can hammer us further.

3 points for failing to pay.
Who knows what for ignoring the punishment 🤷‍♂️

                I really hope I’m wrong

And so the drivel continues as we plummet back towards League 1.

That is one win in 16 now

Some of you will still never admit it but this team would have stayed up under Leam. It may not have been pretty but he understood the limitations this squad had and his previous record with them showed he could get every last ounce of performance out of them. I have still yet to “get out of my seat with excitement” in any game under the 2 managers since.

Huge error made by the board

All our own fault by all accounts. Burnley offered to cap the price if we reciprocated. We refused and charged them £29 for the game at ours. What goes around comes around unfortunately. Ridiculous prices for any football let alone championship football

Completely the wrong way for Amos to claim the ball. He needs to spread himself and then the ball never goes past him. Instead he practically kneels down which makes him very narrow and easier to pass and con the ref

                        We are toothless.

McClean – love the guy but he offers nothing but aggro apart from his dead ball corners

Lang – yard to slow at this level. Runs the ball into touch too often and doesn’t have a cross in him

Keane – leads the press well but again needs too much time to get the ball under control

Fletcher – really don’t think he offers anything. Maybe would be better if we actually crossed a decent ball………but I doubt it

                        Magennis – read Fletcher

Wyke – think we desperately need him fit but season is drifting away from him

I should add I definitely don’t think it was a penalty, I’m just furious with Amos for shitting out and giving the ref the opportunity to give one

Keene’s finishing was awful but he absolutely leads the press that creates the chances. When he went off at Blackburn and again yesterday all of sudden teams were able to play through us more easily.

Wyke did win more headers than Fletcher but doesn’t press as well. Pressing is definitely not Thelo’s forte.

It’s going to be difficult to find the right balance

I agree Hughes is a great find but I’m not giving Toure any credit for it. It was injuries to Kerr, Whatmough and Edmonds Green that forced his hand to play him. He hadn’t even made the bench in Kolo’s first 2 games.

I do however agree that we are way too reluctant to give some of our kids a chance. Smith, Adeeko and Sze have all shown enough in Pizza Cup games to warrant some inclusion

I thought Keane was very good last night, pressed their back line really well along with Lang and Sinani. They made it very difficult for Blackburn to play through us. No coincidence when he went off then they were able to attack us more freely and the last 20 mins was probably their best period of the game. Unfortunately though because of the injuries he had to make the change when he did otherwise he wouldn’t have been able to give Wyke a run out as that was our final sub opportunity.

The major disappointment for me was we failed to test their keeper who was the same lad who had a shocker against us in the FA Cup last season. Our quality from out wide has got to improve because we did really well to create chances to cross but our crossing was dreadful.

Thought Power moved the ball a lot quicker and better, helped by the fact that Christ is actually able to protect the ball andto carry it forward.

All in all a little bit of hope has returned after last night……but then again Kolo’s first game at Millwall wasn’t a disaster. Let’s see what Saturday brings

Did anyone see the clip of our pre match warm up against Luton? Players just left to their own devices, not a coach in sight. Reminded me of Steppes FC back in the day in the South Lancs Sunday League. Proper amateurish. Maybe one of the final nails in the coffin
