I would love to see us take Villa apart next Saturday, to see us playing fast flowing attacking football and to see WJ standing there with a sly smile on his face and a look that says “told you I knew what I was doing” and we all get behind the quite man and slap each other on the back knowing everything as slotted into place and next season promotion is all but guaranteed .
That’s what I would like to happen, because like a lot of Latics fans, would love nothing more than to see a nice fella come good and prove us wrong, but it isn’t going to happen. Let me put it this way, with exception of the first season in the prem where any of the other seasons in the top flight as enjoyable as last season.
