Looked good but if he doesnt want to be here then let him go.
Sounds as bent as cycling horc.
Voted and good luck to him
Agree eggy. We need a settled squad not loads of changes every window. Sure people moan when we do that
How do you play for 5 days and draw?
Danny is the family friend I referred to on saturday. Great bloke and massive Tics mon
Accepting? You do noute but complain.
And he has been a success everywhere so not all about a squad.
Would love to see a winger but we don’t play with wingers. Roberts,Byrne, Colclough, Massey and Jacobs have been known in the past to be wide men but at the end of the day Paul Cook doesn’t use wingers at all.
Secondly I would love a big striker preferably to play alongside Grigg but Mr.Cook wont entertain a strike partnership.
Alternatively a big striker as cover for Grigg or to bring on in desperation, but again I can’t see Mr Cook even entertaining this as he has Toney here until the Summer and also I don’t think he would change his style even in desperation.
May just have to bring Byrne back from Oldham. How has he been so succesful?
We won. Who cares?
Why would Wales want an English boss? Saying that their captain is English.
One of the best strike forces we have had on mine :)
Obviously cutting down on bills by switching the undersoil heating off.
Potentially a lot of money as just demonstrated there plus share of the gate with a plum away draw.
However, this the FA Cup and as the FA Cup this is a competition where clubs should be striving to do well not just for the money but for the honour and prestige. We are known has a club who can make upsets in the FA Cup. It is in the clubs DNA and I hope we never forget that. Winning in a fourth qualifying round fixture and waiting for the Post on Monday to see the draw is a cherished memory.
Actually thinking about in the days when we played many more games in a season if we entered a competition we did the best we could without much swapping and changing and resting. All the cups and competitions potentially gave us honour and prestige and going into school after winning the Lancashire Junior Cup or Floodlight Cup competition meant something and put some pride in your step.
What the hell ever happened? It’s no longer 1960?
Football is a business now Donny.
Utd no pen. City pen. Everton pen.
Pot kettle.
To contribute to the thread….. Walton is the better goalkeeper. Colclough is no better than Roberts.
The only players i can think of who had this contractual thing of having to play, was bogdan, who thankfully got injured & had to return, & the godawful excuse of a goalie we had from stoke.
Cook did state that if jones had have been fit, he would have played.
Cook does what Sharpe tells him to do, simple as that, just the same as Yootha did last season with the goalkeeping debacle, same shit different shovel!
I would love to know where you get your information from.
