Rotherham are a goal and a man down.
That’ll be me missing it then unless the little ones swimming is cancelled
Well done though for keeping updated on that sport you supposedly don’t care about.
Rightfully so based on past cases. Saints were only fined for overspending by 22k and the 14k wigan overspent by isn’t in the threshold for a points deduction of any sort.
RFL trying to throw their weight about basically.
Agreed. Far too much reliance on sports science these days. Yes it is a help but we shouldn’t be relying on it.
And Cookie is 100% still a red lol
I don’t think his tactics were too far off. We were 1 up and creating chances. As usual though, we missed those chances and it came back to bite us on the ass.
We are still the rank outsiders to go down so if you’re that confident we are doomed then make yourselves some money. 25/1 with Betfair.
It is between us, Millwall, Reading and Rotherham. I still think we will survive it is just going to be slightly more bumpy than we first thought.
We were excellent yesterday until their equaliser. It came from absolutely nothing and was the only thing they had created all night. They got the wind in their sails, the crowd got behind them and the rest is history. We still missed two glorious chances at 1-1.
Leon Clarke doesn’t look anything like the same player he is at Sheff United. Yes the create more chances but all of his goals were not tap ins, he scored some belters. Not sure he would score a tap in at the minute. Time to shove Windass forward and drop Clarke for me.
I might be the only one as well, but I am not sure about Reece James in the middle. Much prefer him on the right.
Well, Windass with Powell behind.
Windass n Powell up top on saturday?
Clarke wants get out ….he savaged.Missed 3 maybe 4 chances that he hasn’t even put on target
Don’t deserve to lose but that’s how our season has gone at times.
Who had 6 minutes on the sweep for the time it takes Wilson to flop to the ground like a fish out of water?
Which should once again reiterate to people why we don’t spend big in the transfer window and why we have to accept bids for our best players. And that’s before we get onto our friends across Aspull.
Exactly. Me and my mates used to just kick a football around a field or ride bikes in the woods. Never once did it cross our minds to get a knife and go and mug some pensioner or stab some random person in the street.
Once we got older, it was a crate of ale in someones house with the football on
That is sort of my point with regards to attractive football or what is necessary.
Of course we want to win every game, but you have to realise that there are some games that you are probably going to get hammered in if you go all out attack so you have to be prepared to defend for large parts and try to take what you can when you can. That is pretty much what we did against City last year and I didn’t hear too much complaining. Had we decided to play against them the same way we did against say Oxford away then we would have been looking at an absolute hammering. Instead we got the win.
Derby are a much better side than us whichever way you look at it and if we go there and give them chances we will more than likely get pasted.
