I think he will setup the same and will look for another draw.
I’d take a point if i’m honest but we need to win on Saturday whatever happens.
Absolutely made up for them
I honestly think 11 draws would be enough as I don’t see the sides below us all getting 15 points, but yes you’re right a few wins are needed and I imagine we have targeted Reading and Bolton for that. Win those and we should be safe.
You’re right also SH77 in that it doesn’t have to be one or the other but you read on here and social media how our football in the last few games has been poor and boring etc etc but we haven’t lost a game. At the start of the season when we were attacking at will, the same people were lambasting our defence and the errors we were making leading to goals.
Cook seems to be playing safety first stuff, I just hope (i think it will) it works and we stay up.
And I would argue that some of the stuff we played last season and the start of this was very attractive.
So would you prefer us to pick up points playing as we did yesterday, or lose games playing attacking football?
Well you don’t get any points for pretty football
Fishing
They dont score many, but dont concede many either. First job. Dont concede. Done.Great point, results around us poor granted, but stil 2 games clear with 11 to go.
Have to agree and it was obvious what the tactic was. I’d like to have seen a bit more pace up top though to try and break quicker.
You were all warned that the topic has been done to death. The post offers nothing but a fishing exercise.
Saw plenty of it at the start of the season and then injuries set in and poor results and now its about protecting our status in this league by any means necessary. It wont be pretty at times but if we stay up then we can plan again next season with, hopefully, a bigger budget.
Had we played attacking football all season so far but were in the bottom 3 in say Boltons position, what would your stance be then?
Who knows that’s just speculation.[/quote]
Well I’ll word it differently.
Are you happy to see all out attacking football regardless of the result?

We created just as many clear chances as they did and I thought it was a great point.
They have one of, if not the best defences in the league so breaking them down was always going to be tough.
There is less childish crap posted about the rugby than there is about the age of the squad.
The squad list was posted by Stu and still the nonsense about everyone being 62 carries on.
Opinions are more than welcome but this topic has been done to death
I think Powell will definitely start. Maybe even Garner after last week. Be interesting to see if Windass is dropped after his tantrum last week.
If it stops the petty crap then so be it
