The squad isn’t good enough you’re right but we don’t have the finances that the clubs at this level have. Like many have said before, our 3rd choice striker cost £1m where some clubs at this level spend around £10m on theirs.
I do think that had we kept the same XI that started the season fit and healthy we would be around the top 10 now. Cook has clearly tried to change our style of play to suit what we have and there are times when it works well but we aren’t taking our chances in front of goal and are still conceding soft goals at the back. Christian Walton is a shadow of the player he was last season.
Garner and Windass would look much better in the side that started the season as they would have been getting plenty of service but as it is now they are feeding on scraps and most will struggle with that.
The body language would have more to do with our run than anything to do with Cook IMO. We look fine until that first goal goes in and then we seem to fall apart. Even at Swansea we seemed to collapse when they made it 2-1.

Well they have already said that they want to invest in youth and they may choose to spend some of IEC’s money but that is totally different to spending their own.
I was one who chastised him last season, but he started this season on fire and we have evidently missed his pace in our attack as it is as many have said a bit more laboured nowadays.
we are a much better side with him on the field though as we would be with Jacobs Massey and Grigg as well.
Max Power has completed his move to Sunderland and Jamie Walker has been recalled from Peterborough.
It stops the casual lurkers from seeing the utter tripe on show which more than likely keeps them away from actually posting
