You’re right Horc but we can’t keep hiding behind the ref being poor and papering over the cracks in our defence.
Well 3 players all turned to the ref to appeal BEFORE the ball hit the net.
Yes its a foul, but you are taught in any sport from day 1 to play to the whistle.
Certainly looked a push, but as the old saying goes you play to the whistle. We all stopped and they didn’t
That goal was the only highlight tbh
You watching the cup final straight after Horc?
Sky Sports News seem to have forgotten that we beat City last year.
Wolves are 1 of only 2 sides to nil City last season apparently. There were actually 3.
Had they said “at home” then fair enough.
Hopefully they’ll be wider for my ample rugby supporting frame ;)
Sides don’t play traditional wingers either anymore Donny so the LB or RB are now classed as RWB and LWB I guess.
Or anything positive for that matter
Kenny Miller sacked at Livingston Wet Spam fans calling for Pellegrino to go, Scum bag fans calling for Mourinhos head Some Gooners already fed up of Dick Emery.2 games gone and fans in absolute meltdown lol
We think many on here like a moan well listening to talk shoite today is hilarious.
Kenny Miller has drawn 1 and lost 1 (against Celtic) on their return to the top flight. Weird one unless they have found a permanent manager because they offered him the job but he didn’t want to retire.
Thanks TL. Clears it up.
That seems ridiculous about the assistants not flagging especially in the last minute like that because all that happens is everyone on the ground just thinks the ref has been bullied into the call.
So I take it the referee must have thought it was accidental!!! What a load of bollox, he pulled Grigg down on purpose to stop him scoring so it should have been a straight red.
For a straight red the foul still has to deny an obvious goal scoring opportunity.
At the point the foul was made, Grigg didn’t have control of the ball, the ball was still very high in the air and there was no guarantee that Grigg could’ve reached the height of the ball at the angle he was running at & the keeper could also have come out to claim it.
Bearing all this in mind you can’t say that it was an obvious goal scoring opportunity so deliberate pull back or not, it wasn’t a sending off – if he’d had the ball under control or was literally on the verge of heading it then yes it should have been a red. But it wasn’t, so under the laws of the game a caution was the correct decision no matter how unfair it might seem[/quote]Agreed and I said that at the time.
Their penalty was a penalty but I would love to know why he changed his mind from “no go away” to “penalty” because the assistant didn’t flag.
2 1 Latics.
We should be pretty safe if Watson is taking corners.
Wheres Vatty gone? This thread is up his street.
You get £100K for winning it and 45% of the gate receipts after costs. We will earn more on Saturday.
It isn’t 1993/1994 anymore (when I started and it was a big thing) the competition is dead.
