I can’t really argue that rugby fans aren’t fat when you look at this
3XL, 4XL and 5XL are all sold out.
Looking at the concourse, the bars and the queue to get in I would say there was more than 11k on unless every extra fan was in the east stand.
Their manager told them to have a go at us but that certainly didnt happen unless your talking about kicking us.
They will be well happy with that as their fans showed and so they should be. Point away from home in a top of the table clash is a great result.
I thought they looked dangerous on the break but felt we were always in control and should probably have won it. Few missed chances or poor decisions like Jacobs going down in first half for no reason.p
The ref definitely forgot his cards first half. How their number 6 went 57 minutes without going in the book is a mystery.
Not sure about Morsy though. The lad never seems to lose the ball. Gets rid or wins the foul for me 99.9% of the time.

Maybe Dereck with the way we set up and don’t change that format in a game some managers will find a way round that just the same way as other managers have found the way round the systems that our rivals play. I know you aren’t a fan of 1 up top (or 3 with a central striker as most clubs play it) but I think Duke was one of those players who if you gave him the ball 20 yards out he could do something whether he had 1, 2 or 3 men on him. Will doesn’t score many screamers and doesn’t have half the skill that Ellington had.
Obviously he thrived with having Roberts or Lidds alongside him but I’m not sure he “needed them” as such.
I wonder how many he would score if playing in this modern way without a strike partner or winger?As a natural finisher who scored very few tap ins and could bag from anywhere, I would imagine quite a few.
