Premier League clubs have agreed to more talks regards this.
What a load of b*llocks this is though:
More from Sue Roberts from the Hillsborough Foundation after Premier League clubs discussed safe standing for the first time today.
All-seater stadiums have been compulsory in the top two divisions in England since an inquiry into the 1989 Hillsborough disaster, which claimed the lives of 96 Liverpool fans.
“If people were going into a seated area [Hillsbrough] could never have happened,” Roberts said.
“Why break what isn’t broke? There’s been no accidents since [Hillsbrough].”
“We’re only thinking of the safety of others. It’s too late for us – we’ve already lost our loved ones through standing on terraces.
“We have a tendency to forget things in history. I think it’s one step in the wrong direction that will eventually lead to another step and then another step. I would hate to be still around to say I told you so.
“But if we let standards lapse, at some point in the future somebody will be saying why didn’t we listen?”
Too many people in a crowded seating area causes far more issues as there are less places to move too.
If they went up by £75-£100 they would still be very reasonable, and easily affordable for most people.I can hear the complaints from here.
I could also point out that Clinton got more votes than Trump, so the will of the people was that she should win.And as I pointed out on facebook, that isn’t how the election works there in the same way that it isn’t how it works here either.
I always enjoy social media after an election. The losing side are always the ones in the right whilst the winning side are a bunch of complete idiots/racists. Makes for great entertainment for the WUMs amongst us.
Not sure of the score, but leave the EU won just as Donald did so that’s the will of the people.
If people don’t want to be on the wrong side of a democratic vote then move to North Korea.
Horrible club. Never been able to stand them since the 4 0 hammering there when Tomaz Repka seemingly needed to murder someone to get his 2nd yellow.
Was expecting about 15-20k yes.
We should just stick to playing the game up North and be done with it.
There was 20,000 more on than I thought there’d be.
Barrow must be good at his job otherwise 5 Managers wouldn’t have agreed to work with him.
The big difference will be how much their players are ‘up for it’ compared to ours. I fancy us to win the game but it won’t be the walkover it probably should be.
Oh they will be up for it egg but I just don’t see Southgate allowing the England players off the leash to really go after them and overun em. We will be stereotypical and build slow and pass the living shite out of the ball .
Exactly. Be a 1 or 2 nil win as opposed to the 4 or 5 it should be.
I know it’s his birthday but shame this is beind done on a weekday. Would have been a good curtain raiser to our next home game.
I’ll just have to take that route home and go have a look.
Oh. I thought it was being done for my birthday ;)
So the statue isn’t of you????

So Joyce reckons Grigg needs a rest yet allows him to go on International duty then rest him on his return to us
That sounds like good practice, we are trying to climb out of the bottom three and Joyce wants to rest a 20+ goal a season striker? What a load of shite!
Summat going on here.
Playing for your Country is the highest accolade you can have. Joyce is probably aware that Grigg won’t play but is happy to let him train with better players.
2 week ago the Manager was shit, now it’s the players, backroom staff, Chairman, tea lady etc etc.
Eggy, i wish you would read the posts properly, i’m not calling anyone shite, i am saying the decision to rest Grigg is shite and doesn’t make sense!
The second part was aimed at the board in general not you personally.

Never booed. I just don’t clap.
As a supporter (there is a difference between that and a fan) you take the rough with the smooth. I may vent on here and in the pubs but I would never boo*
*gave the Wigan RL players the middle finger and told several to f*** off at half time in the 2001 Grand Final but we were 20 points down.
