Keep quiet, read the paper and you’ll be reet
I was at the meeting in 1932 to create a new team in Wigan called Wigan Athletic. Prior to that I was a ST holder at Wigan Borough and watched them home and away and once washed the kit in the Dougy.
Beat that.
The website Anfield Travel asks whether you would prefer your language as English or NORWEGIAN.
In all honesty, a few weeks ago when they played Warrington, I couldnt get through doors of Burger King, the queue was well outside.I gave up and drove off towards Beech Hill. parked up at the lights at the crossroads, they were teeming down the hill like ants out of an ants nest. There didnt seem to be any decline in their support that night, and yes, toa degree, it could be labelled a rugby town. But it isn’t now…it was 10 years ago, perhaps.
In all honesty, yes, the rugby does have a lot of support…..but so do we. The difference is, and I am not being funny about this, but we are in the Premier League, at the pinnacle of the sport of football. No other sport can compete either financially, commercially, or in exposure.
Latics are by far a much bigger club than we were 10 years ago, thats for sure.
NFL? $2.5 MILLION for a 30 second advert during the Superbowl.
Typical reply from a chap who is a woman hater and could even be a homosexual what is this site all about these days I share all the work at home even do the dishes and all that stuff lol
Ah, you must be one of them new modern man type blokes then..Or what could be classed as, under the thumb[/quote]
I do what I want when I want..
..provided I’ve told the Mrs and she says I can.
Although I rose to the bait a few time previously these threads tend to get on my nerves. SDW just doesn’t know when to stop and it’s beyond tedious. But there is an attendance discussion in the rl fans wigan forum that does put a bit of a slant on this. Pretty much everybody that contributed has admitted that the attendance was actually probably about the 8000 mark.
It just goes to show that all the fiddled attendance barbs that we get are pretty unjustified. I’d like to think it’ll put an end to them but I know it won’t.
As GL says above though the corporate would have been added to that and seeing as those on the top floor of the West stayed inside in the warm while those from other lounges filled say 70% of the corporate seats you’re probably not far off with 11k
I have never seen such seething hatred being directed at a tv on a wall in my life !Was like that when I was in a pub full of Rangers fans while Celtic were on.
Out of curiosity, how much is it to join WASC and where do you register? Are there concessionsIt costs £5 to join for the season which gives you numerous benefits. There are no concessions.
Joking aside, does anyone know when they will be sending the online ones out?The suspense is killing guessing where we’re going to be sitting….well not quite :cheer:
The Eastern end of Wembley
Strange how its £25 to QPR and £32 to Wembley despite distance being no different. When the cost of the coach is several hundred pounds more plus 70 quid parking fee as opposed to nothing that’s what happens.
8,342 was the “official attendance”…….if counting non appearance s/tickts through the gate 11,903…..either way it’s shockingand a completely one sided training exhibition session and a local derby!!!!!!!!!!
bye bye rugger league…..now you know how it feels to be put down….just like all them fu**ing years ago………
pointless league, pointless crowd, pointless village game, pointless existence……..worst advert for rugger yorky league imaginable…..well done worryers…….RUGBY TOWN
Yet you still know all about it.
Basically, if most of you on here put as much effort into supporting WAFC as you do into putting down WRLFC then nobody could ever criticise our support. Some of you know more about the goings on in rugby league than I do.
It was cowd, only widnes it’s ont tellyAye it was cowd. I’ve not been that cold all season at football.
BTW this rugby town, more fans than you bollocks is starting to get incredibly tedious especially when you consider that we’re 3 weeks away from making history, possibly making Europe and in a good position to piss the media off again by making it 9 years in the top flight.

Still, Callum should be banned for life for a career threatening tackle.
