I used to have a Dukla Prague away kit. I got it for Christmas. It was all I wanted.
:)
I’d be quite happy to get a trip to some remote part of Europe …
Bangor?
Not what I had in mind, but I’ll take it.
Inverness (who will hopefully be in the CL) or Dukla Prague (who probably won’t qualify at all) would be superb for personal reasons.
IF we win the cup we will go straight into the group stage.
IF we are runners up (the more likely) we will enter at the playoff stage.
I’d be quite happy to get a trip to some remote part of Europe in the playoffs and lose safe in the knowledge that I’ve seen us play in Europe.
I don’t think you can take that site serious when they’ve Wigan v Newcastle tickets listed at £125 each and only 12 left. Now I wonder if my lad got any handed out at school ?? (ummmm)
That’s a site for people selling tickets though isn’t it like viagogo and the like so those tickets are more than likely in the away end.
According to the site below that I’ve managed to find, we’re listed as the Sunday game with a 3pm kick off.
Was hoping for the Saturday so I could still go egg chasing on the Sunday :(
A repeat of the last time we went to Wembley, lets hope for the same resultNot quite ;)
My favourite as a teen was always Jordan. In her early days she was good looking.
40,000 on at the SFS for the season opener in the NRL. Sydney FC and Sydney Olympic don’t get that combined whilst the Aussie Rules side average 30k.
It’s a growing sport tha knows Bruce
Maybe Egg, but the Melbourne derby was the first game of the season in the A-League and they had 42k on, while 35k went to the Sydney v Newcastle game the following week.
And now I step into nerd mode:
The average attendance of Sydney FC is 18k and Melbourne Victory is 22k.
The league average is 12k – which is on par with somewhere between Championship and League One.
It’s the highest average since 2008 – so yes, it is growing.
By average attendance, the most watched ‘football’ sports in Australia are:
Aussie Rules 32k
Rugby Union 20k
Rugby League 18k
Association Football 12kBy contrast, last season’s UK Super League average attendance was 10k

Thanks for that SW. I was only taking the piss
Not a problem Egg. Thought I’d provide some stats for the attendance nerds to masturbate over.
Ha ha. Obviously there’ll be a thread tomorrow night when Wigan fail to get 25k against a team bringing no fans so just thought I’d throw in a 40k crowd from the NRL. :)

Last day survival isn’t progress. Progress would be finishing higher in the league.Well seeing as we finished 16th surviving on the final day and the season after finished 15th surviving with a game to spare, then I’d say we did better. Would you not?
Personally I thought the singing and dancing at half time was pretty funny and enjoyable especially considering we were 3-0 down.
That’ll be the East Stand Egg?
Was yes

By the letter of the law its a sending off. Using an ounce of common sense it isn’t.
Totally agree on having no sympathy though.
