We were away at Liverpool when the Harry Kewell song was sung mate. It was in the 3-0 game when Crouch scored, and the fire drill song has been sung at us numerous times so I’m not sure we can take the credit for that one no matter how funny it is.

It was December. December 3rd 2005 to be precise. Someone was down injured and Harry Kewell was stood in front of the Wigan fans waiting to take a corner for what seemed like an eternity.
We did sing “Are you watching Michael Shiels” which may have been in the 4-0 home defeat when they went a goal up as he was in Hindley at the time. That one didn’t go down well with the eternal victims.

If he is to get more time on the field then I would suggest a loan spell in the Championship but he is definitely not good enough for the Prem at this moment in time !Fully agree, and nor do I think he ever will be good enough for the Prem.
