Instead, we get a focus on the ref’s position for the first goal, and then that bloke from the Walkers Crisps adverts (he’s not even a footballer for Christ’s sake) announcing that one of our players has won the goal of the month.Lineker isn’t a footballer? Don’t get that quote tbh.
Thought Mick McCarthy’s comment about the ref was quite funny.
To avoid any misunderstandings let me put it as obvious as possible, it is a pity that Steve had to leave us, since he is an amazing defender with an open heart. He is always willing to fight for his club until the referee blows the whistle. On top of that the whole crowd still loves him for his way of playing/fighting football.
That bit doesn’t sound too bad. Just what we need.
As good a season as I think Thomas and Diame are having, we have no bite in midfield anymore since Cattermole and Brown left.
Bleedin Eck, I’ve witnessed Hendry Thomas so far this season finding is feet in the PL, but in doing so tackling everthing in sight with avengance.
