So £20 on who finishes above who.
Sorted
Get that 20 quid out mutty lad. Max did some pointing today alright. He pointed at his third winners medal.
I see Grigg got promoted again. Just the one club he’s struggled at.
At least you have a championship quality squad eh
Looks like it was a championship quality squad all along. Looking forward to taking over the DW next season already – do you think Talal will be offering freebies for your ST holders to sell to Sunderland fans again?
Now JR – about that wager:
Wigan finished as the 45th best side in England. Sunderland finished as the 49th best side.
My £20 says that in 22/23, Sunderland will improve on theirs more than Wigan will improve on theirs.
Wanna dance?
I’ll dance mutty.
Loser pays £20 to charity of winners choosing?
Granted, but had you managed to get out of the PJ before Christmas, then the dates for Oldham, Arsenal & Sutton would have been free for the games missed.
Imagine if you’d made the final and had to squeeze Bolton into this month too – that point could well be the difference between automatics and the lottery of the playoffs.
I’d have gone out in the groups personally. Terrible comp.
We played our first team at Oldham.
They were kicking their heels because everyone was calling games off against us.
He chose Shinnie. Wrong decision so he changed it. Cousins for Shinnie at HT would have also been the wrong decision because Max was getting hammered at RB.
4 points clear, 2nd best attack, 2nd best defence (having played less games than most sides) wish we’d have sacked him at start of season.
I love our fanbase. Cheers me up after a defeat.
By “put it to bed early” would Tuesday be ok? That was the earliest we could be promoted and it still is.
If Cousins had come on for Shinnie then Power stays at RB. The whole reason for the change was to put Max in midfield and go back to a back 5. I’ll give you Aasgaard, but it was him or Humphrys as last sub.
Rotherham beat a team that was playing for nothing, MK lost to a team playing for something. Means little in all honesty.
4 points clear, destiny in our own hands and a chance to have the title at home next week. Not good enough Wigan.
So one then, which IIRC was due to a challenge and meant that Max Power moved back to his preferred position.
Good job Richardson isn’t a bad coach as well as a bad manager we might be 2nd then.
How many big injuries have we had?
Like I said…..seems to be managing them quite well.
McClean’s injury was trying to avoid a shocker of a challenge from that Dempsey.
Mutty has pointed out one thing they do to help. They did a couple of other big things during admin also.
Seems to be managing them pretty well so far. They could get injured in training too, maybe they don’t train either.
Never said he was a good guy, but he didn’t try to do what people THINK he tried to do.
He can’t afford the stadium for a start off.
Didn’t he set up a consortium?
Tried to for the football club yes but never managed it hence why no bid was made for the club which is what the admins dined out on.
Never said he was a good guy, but he didn’t try to do what people THINK he tried to do.
He can’t afford the stadium for a start off.
Maurice is long gone of course but administration certainly didn’t do anything to mend the wounds albeit with a few inaccuracies but when has the truth meant anything.
Rugby fans don’t like playing 2nd fiddle and their ego won’t allow them to accept that that’s the case.
I do not know when, or care, when the rugby played Castleford, but he refers to Everton signing Warren Aspinall, which was on 4 February 1986.
Wouldn’t expect you too, but that’s how I figured it out.
And making a sub won’t stop an injury – see Saturday with McClean. Luckily that happened late on and playing with 10 wasn’t an issue.
No doubt he gets crucified for making subs if we play 10 minutes or so and lose the gane.
