        You couldn’t buy multiple tickets. You could buy 1 ticket for every ST.

        Why do we need a points system? It isn’t like we sell out week in week out, and with a number of games POTD, it wouldn’t work anyway.

          We were both wrong.

          It was March 1986 in the lead up to Wigan playing Castleford in the cup (lost)

              Mutty is spot on. Won’t happen because of the council. The rugby would have to walk away by their own accord I feel, which I wish they would. Not a fan of the stadium for either club. Too big and soul less. Wish we had done a Blackpool or Widnes in rugby and done up the two stadia bit by bit. Doubt the council would have allowed that though.

              For the record … IL offered to buy the stadium if it couldn’t be sold….ie if Latics weren’t bought. If nobody bought the club then the stadium would just stand there becuase it can’t be developed on for houses which is all anyone wanted it for.

                          I’ve always been country above club. Personally I think the whole league system should stop.

                          I do however think they play too many stupid and meaningless friendlies though.

                            Well in 2018 we made our first WC SF since 1990 and this year our first final since 1966 so things are on the up.

                            As I always say when rugby fans moan about things not being the same as the good old days…..times have changed.

                            I’ve no problem with us missing games if we have players good enough to play for their country. Rather that than play a 2nd string or be a crap side.

                              We lose games because we lose 4 or 5 of our players every 4 weeks and the first thing people will do is moan.

                                Just seen it back and I can’t tell. His arm os in the air, but it would have taken some power to deflect it in.

                                The goal is given by the assistant referee no issues, until the Lincoln players complain.

                                  I agree with you, be interesting to see it back.

                                  Pretty much every Lincoln defender appealed so I tend to believe there’s something wrong, but the lack of a flag would suggest the lino didn’t until he was persuaded otherwise.
