The rivalry was there before 2013 and went as far as ‘pie eaters ‘ and usual shithousing however ramped up massively after the FA cup victory in 2013.
They just cannot handle the fact we have been more successful than they have , it rankles.
      So bitter and very jealous.

Maybe its rival EFL member clubs that push for this , we seem to have attracted a few bitter enemies since the monumental FA cup success and backs to wall mentality displayed in latter years.
Id imagine a few perenial League 1 lame dogs will no doubt have been on the phone ‘reminding’ the EFL of the June payday breach already.
If i know Latics it will be a promotion push regardless next season regardless , the backs to wall mentality will no doubt surface very strongly next season now all this has been sorted.

Great day for Latics supporters and let’s hope they run the club sensibly with a long term sustainable goal.
I really thought the club was done for finally like happened at Bury and if it means we have to stroke along with the chubbies then so be it.
It worked before with Whelan and whilst many of us cannot forget their bombast and ruthlessness under Maurice
Lindsay we have to accept that the rugby club and the game of rugby league is declining and times now are very different now to the 1980’s.
Let’s hope we have had our bad luck once and for all , I noticed our bitter and jealous neighbours from Blackrod were very quiet last night.
At last it’s now Back to matters on the pitch and a tough relegation battle awaits with possible relegation to the basement again but that is this clubs metier.

Let’s hope so , biggest crisis in clubs history this , far worse than the admin in think.

I cannot see us starting the season either and the new buyer hope has disappeared now we have found out the identity.
No immediate money to run the club means the final nail in the coffin for me and we won’t start the season.
It’s a horrible horrible situation and those bitter jealous nobodies from Horwich will have got their own back on a small number of our supporters.
At least we won’t have the vile
scruffy two hats coming into our lovely town and stinking it out anymore with their vitriol.
Let’s hope all the supporters can band together and reform the club if the worst happens.
Tip of the iceberg though , I’m expecting more situations like this throughout football going forward.

I think they felt they could rip through the championship and hit the premier league in one swoop ,beyond bloody naive but there you go.
Looking back now it seems when things started to falter badly on the pitch around last October the first late wages payment rumours began to surface.
If it was a pool of investors that mostly backed away when the form changed from play off contenders to relegation fodder and the bills started to mount up it all makes sense now.

I had a sneaky peak at that this morning and am still scratching my head and have seen the rumours now all over the net in news feeds.
Fixtures out very soon , id hazard a guess that Hartlepool already have their beady eyes focused sharply at us just like Barnsley did a few years ago.

Isn’t it payday tomorrow for the club? Let the monthly shit show start all over again!

And then same old “never happen again “ club statement on Monday and Tuesday and then the inevitable points deduction.
Get ready for trips to Harrogate railway or whatever they’re fcuking called because that’s where we are headed and that’s the best scenario !!!!
Who would have thought it 12 months back ?

Its like a pack of cards collapsing, no faith from supporters , who will trust this lot now ??
Its not just wages for players its the bigger issues of payments to creditors, running costs, transfers, ground costs etc and the points deductions is irrelevant at the moment because i seriously think we are done.
My gut feeling says we wont have a club next season, asset strip on the way i think , ground sale to the fatties and players flogged for peanuts , it is Bury Fc all over again unless a savour rolls in from somewhere and bloody quick!!!
                        Bad fooking times

As much as there is a rivalry with our ‘pals’ from Horwich and some of their supporters beyond description I wanted them to beat Barnsley on Friday.
To say I detest them is an understatement and I hope Sheff Wednesday stuff them in that final.

I just want them out and the season ticket sale levels make that point very clearly that others want rid also.
Biggest question I have is what the flying f**k are the EFL and PFA doing about all of this???

It kills me and rips me apart but i am staying away until these people are gone.
I have zero trust in them whatsoever and would feel sick giving them one penny.
Been watching the team since I witnessed that famous 5-3 victory over Port Vale in 1979 and I made sure my four year old son became a Tics fan in defiance to that t**t across town and he witnessed his first game which was a nail biter against Darlington at Springy in 1994.
Football is fooked now across the game , most clubs had decent owners back then but not anymore.

The rugby peddled hype throughout the 80s and 90s to such an extent the statements uttered then are still being spoken now especially in ten media.
Mawreece got into bed with the local rags , local media , national media and spouted all level of bull about his little “regbeee cleb “ and they all still believe it.
They are very much the smaller club nowadays but the bull peddled then by this arrogant megalomaniac still lives on.
The ground needs to fully purchased by the council , if they can find stupid money to build a glorified motor track over an old coal pit then surely this is minuscule investment and would please most of the people who pay their fecking wages!!
Our club would surely be more sellable at that point and the council would recoup the money by selling their existing offices and then using the vast space at the ground as council offices with loads of parking around the place for the workers etc.

Only question i have now is WTF are the PFA and EFL doing to rectify this dire situation ?
No word from either entity from what i can see ?
If they have no money and cannot continue then say so and do the decent thing now for the future of the club and like CW says get shut for a £1 if they can.
