Still seem to be some available. Wrong Direction had sold out about 20 dates by now. I blame Martinez.
Got mine about 9.55. Straight in – no hassle.
Surely this can’t be the same bloke who pushed a linesman over and then tried to laugh it off?
Thought not.
But it’s a grand old team to play for, you know. And apparently it’s a grand old team to support.
You need to get to know some history.
Maybe that’s where I’m going wrong. I’d always thought of them as Liverpool without the trophies.
I’ve never quite got the “People’s Club” nonsense. And those “You’re in my heart, you’re in my soul” car stickers want banning.
According to the BBC:
“Everton suffered their first-ever defeat to Wigan Athletic at Goodison Park, this after winning five and drawing two of their previous seven meetings with the Latics there”.
Must have dreamed the other win too!
Just watching the highlights. What a pass from Phil Neville. Gomezesque. Sign him up.
All the more reason to play the strongest possible team tomorrow.
Premier League for me too.
This talk of Europe seems a bit of a red herring. If we ever got there methinks that it’ll end with our reserve team in a qualifying round at the beginning of July, somewhere in deepest Belarus against a team we’ve never heard of. We won’t be going to Ajax or Benfica.
My 8 year old wants it to be off tomorrow. She’s already moaning that it’ll be cold, wet, she won’t be able to see anything and what if she gets tired? She’s never been on a terracing before so I suspect I’ve probably wasted £3 on her ticket. There’s a definite darksider in the making here.
Saw them at the now defunct transport club near the now defunct seven stars in mid eighties. My mates had bought me a ticket for my 21st great all day sesh with a finish at the now defunct Pemps.
Bit of a trend here isn’t there ?
;)That was the first live band I ever saw. Think it was 87, maybe 88 at the transport club. Remember at the time (being a bit wet behind the ears) being a bit shocked that they were encouraging people to gob at them. Happy days. Still have the LP’s somewhere in the loft but nowt to play them on.
£14.60 on the train from Wallgate change at picadiilly for those who fancy the scenic routeYou can get a ‘Wayfarer’ ticket and get there for £10 instead.
It probably says more about how far Liverpool have fallen in recent years and how they are not going to attract any big name strikers to a Europa League club.
Even the marketing department seem to have woken up. Everywhere I look round here there are billboards advertising the cheapest season tickets in the Prem. But do they not realise that they have chosen to advertise in the heartland of rugby league? A town where real men eat wire and those who do like a lesser sport like ‘soccer’ have to have a manc swagger?
It’ll never take off.
Firstly, I’m not so sure Lambert would be so quick to let a player with so much potential go and I’m not sure Nzogbia would go either the money he’s on and the possibility he has to become a major influence in a more attacking Villa side.
Having said that I’d take him back. I was very dubious about him when his first move fell through, but he knuckled down rather than spitting his dummy out, had a great season, kept us up and earned his move.
Can’t ever see him coming back though.
Can’t see him adding anything eggstra to the squad.
