why arnt all the pundits/journos going berzerk about the challenge bardsley did for the mackems

Me an my mate shouted the same thing as soon as it happened. A country mile worse than callum’s

Who gives a shit, Kone, McCarthy and Maloney were excellent and we won. Big one next week, I cant wait already. Poor but Martinez highlighted that we are historically poor after international week. Is that a good performance or bad. I would say good. Norwich had me a little scared with that kamara bloke on the counter attack but now in hindsight it was a well grinded out win.

Think Griff’s original post and jimmy have it pretty much the way i see it.

Ourselves and Villa hitting a bit of form. Sunderland being the team that usually plummets from mid table into a relegation scrap. We could do with the league being 10 games longer. If it was i would see West Ham and Stoke being dragged into it and ourselves up in mid table.

As it is the QPR game is the key match, Even if we lose tomorrow that game will probably define both our destinies.

On a downer Norwich. This is a game we MUST take by the scruff of the neck.

Im thinking a performance like the Newcastle one last season then QPR away will be mouthwatering.

NO WAY they will ever make the champions league 60k or 20k, doesn’t matter…

yet more crowd size boll***S from a southern club, who truely believe that big crowds will get you in the elite league…..OOH DEARY ME ZZZZZZZZ[/quote]

How many teams have bought brand new shiny stadiums and gone backwards in terms of money and divisions. A lot

Iv’e been saying this for the past couple of years. But, i always get shot down by numerous people!!!!!

The sky greed, media, stereotypical vendetta driven whopper league is the THRID “best” league in europe for me (in every aspect). The only reason gullible mugs think it’s the “best” is because they have been brainwashed by the whole sky sports billion pound propaganda machine, and also national media etc into thinking it is the best…..(it’s sky’s cash-cow, they will do anything to promote/protect it)

Very badly run (not a patch on bundesliga) and lacking in technical skill (not a patch on la liga)

And please spare me the whole b****hit of “it’s the strength in depth of the league (top to bottom) that makes it the best”!!!! ohh please f**k off….also “munich are 20 points clear, so are barca” (approx)…These 2 teams are still in the champions league and SHOULD reach the final if not drawn in semi……your point is???????

A team at the bottom ALL season, spending £100k a week wages with 17/18k gates in a desperate bid to stay in the league for THE SOLE REASON of increased funding next year…..PATHETIC.

Bundesliga and la liga END OF DEBATE/ARGUMENT/DISCUSSION (anybody who thinks otherwise……don’t forget to renew your sky package next season)

Mostly valid points bar one there r**, la Liga i basically bankrupt and there are only two teams who can make any money. No prizes for guessing which two ;)

And just to add. I don’t think we have gone any worse since the 80’s and 90’s (apart from playing 2 up front i.e Shearer and Sheringham) i just think that everyone else has caught up to the standard of international football. We licked Turkey 8-0 about 20 years ago but now they would probably beat us. Teams like Poland, Ghana (in fact all Africa) Switzerland and Ecuador etc would all probably beat us now. Its a sad state of affairs when we pay the players the most in the world and they aren’t able to beat teams who earn little more than me or you. I won’t criticize last night as much though because Montenegro are a former Yougoslavia state and the Yougoslav’s were a bloody tough side. But now they have broken away to ( i think) 7 individual countries we should be beating them. The days of dominance and being guaranteed quarter final stages of tournaments have long gone. Portugal are that new team.

England always perform like a random collection of indviduals put together in a team that hardly ever plays.

    Which is what they are.

Should play the under 21’s with Baines and Oxlade-Chamberlain starting and Walcott up front.

Why is every England manager so scared of dropping Rooney and Gerrard, It’s beggars belief what they bring to the team. Gerrard just doesn’t have the legs any more to run the midfield and Milner is just a waste of good spunk.

in reply to: That tackle and BBC #105963

Don’t know why they vilify us so much. Let’s face it, The league would be boring without us in it. There would be no team to take the piss out of. If we wasn’t here the likes of West Ham couldn’t flop their crowd gathering dicks out and say “we are a bigger club than you”

in reply to: Re: sad #105954
iv’e just received this, how true

    FACT

They look scarily similar. I seriously cannot figure out if the one on the left is male or female. Whatever it is, It is an inbreed of some sort.

in reply to: Lynch mob.. #105601
Is that the same pat Nevin who said on motd 2 that it was one of the worst tackles he had ever seen !

    The very same.

in reply to: Lynch mob.. #105597
Having given up my season ticket seat to my daughter, I sat just yards from THAT tackle and from my angle clapped what I thought was a great challenge, the ball changed direction and Callum was up and away to close down the next attack albeit handball. However, even seeing it when i got in still reckon Callum (exuberance excused)had eyes only for the ball. The media really pi$$ me off, coming back home all talk sh**e could do was drag up a couple of second class hacks from the mirror and the people, one who said ‘I really hope Wigan go down this year, they have never brought anything to the Premier’ adding ‘glad they have reached the cup semi final, maybe they’ll take their eye off the ball and finally go down’.

Bring them all on, I say. Pat Nevin hit the nail on the head saying we are a club that have ‘not forgotten where thy’ve come from’. Perhaps the media should heed that.

i always listen to pat Nevin’s comments. he talks with the old school style and sense. On MOTD2 he was spot on as usual, And even went as far as stciking up for us whilst everyone else stuck the book in.

in reply to: Whelan again #105596

The way i see it, Everyone, Jack of us is sticking up for WAFC and our players on this subject. I think Whelan is right to join in.

Good old Pardew. Sacked from Southampton for trying to have an affair with one of his players’ wife.

Nasty piece of shit, Thinks he is hard and recently he thinks he can pull off designer stubble.
