Plenty managers keep their jobs after a relegation especially from a division probably above their budgets
He plays for a point, he should have changed it.
He makes attacking subs, he shouldn’t have changed it.
Not according to some on here
Not in the rovers squad today
Its a good benchmark against under 23s yes.
O’Keefe?
LFCTV is free on sky and virgin this weekend
He’s apparently going to single handedly save us from the drop
He’s clearly not doing anything special in training against Dunkley or Kipre or he’d be in. When he does come on he rarely does it against championship defenders, so why throw him in against Prem defenders? If we drew Fylde again he’d have probably played
The first thing he did Saturday was shoot just over the bar.
Something our lot fail to do, which is to take it on. You clearly don’t like Geldhart and if he scored a 4 timer in the last 10mins of the last game of the season to keep us up you’d still pull your face and moan.
The lad has clearly got talent but the point is we’ll never know which makes you sadly even more happy.
Dont tell me, your a fan of Moore
The 2nd 3rd and 4th thing he did was lose the ball.
He’s a good player no doubting but he isn’t Lionel Messi as some would have you believe.
Few weeks ago on here he was shit. Scores for Wales against Azerbaijan and he’s suddenly Ronaldo.
You the club doctor brownbill?
Forgot that one. Was asking Sheff Weds, Derby and Ipswich fans.
Great manager for us yes, but he had help. Wasnt exactly a tactical genius.
Ellington was £1.2m and Roberts was £1.4m. We wouldn’t be able to afford either of them nowadays. Be talking 5 or 6 million each minimum. He didnt spend massively compared to some clubs but he spent. Our wage bill was huge. We upped Graham Kavanaghs wage for example. Could we do that with Stoke now, or anyone at this level? No.
Jewell failed at every other job he had.
Evan’s and Morsey are about as boring as you can get. I can only imagine they play to the orders of Cook.
Negative, slow, boring and safe the pair of them. A total lack of creativity both sh1t scared of moving forward or moving the ball forward. Some call it “holding mid” I prefer to call it “fookin useless”.Like I said, theres lads on a park tomorrow who can do that pass sideways and back.
It clearly highlights the vulnerability of Cook at Championship level.
He’s tried the big lad up front, failed and now trying to play along the floor, again, failed.
What’s next ? He’s like cat on its 9th life, no margin for error.
I honestly don’t know what this fookin board and owners are watching or even if they actually are watching it because you don’t have to work for NASA to see were 5 points behind 20th spot and slowly but surely were drifting to the League One.Why not simply have a look at the way we played when we went through the league’s with Jewell. True the side lacks the quality we had then even in League One but at least we wouldn’t look like we were sauntering to relegation.
Because it was nearly 20 years ago?
Ok then lets just pass away to league 1 if thats what you want but Im sure you dont. Playing with a winger and two strikers and defenders who defend and dont waste their time and energy running up the wing could surely not be any worse than this 21st century bilge dished out by Cook.
Paul Cook doesn’t have the budget that Jewell had and the same quality of squad. Jewell would have been sacked in his first 6 months if whelan hadnt given him a contract for whatever reason he chose to. Instead he backed him with funds to buy a championship standard squad in league one. Jewell failed in every other job.
