Believe me, there’s more than just Griff and Standish that are behind Martinez. Like myself for example, but the rest really can’t be bothered to reply to the petulance and pessimism of the rest of the board, on every thread.
Correct!
Who started the Pedant’s revolt?
Which Tyler
Peter Reid, affordable, top flight experience, no-one in Plymouth can understand him, some old songs could be re-surrected, no-one in our team will understand him, Bolton connection. Perfect fit.
I have the misfortune to work for a large, American-owned company. A few years ago, after we had successfully completed a very lucrative contract they decided one of the big chiefs should come over to congratulate us. So he duly arrived and launched into his “great job” speech. At the end he finished off with “..and have a great holiday”.
It took us a while to persuade him that we did not actually celebrate the 4th of July as a holiday.…… when el-cid laid siege for the pair of clowns scotland and gomez…..Is this an example of the constructive criticism you’ve promised us on the “Hello” thread ;)

29 June 2010 at 3:37 pm in reply to: Boselli On his own or Boselli/Scotland Or Bosellin/Rodallega #38654If the question is, ‘Will he play up front as part of a 4-4-2?’, then the answer is no, most probably not.If nothing else, this World Cup has proven that:
4-4-2 is a largely outdated system that few adopt these days. Most play 4-5-1 which converts to 4-3-3 in attack.
Wide players playing on the ‘wrong’ wing can be very effective when cutting inside (see Robben as a prime example).
If playing without traditional wingers, two decent defensive midfielders are essential to provide cover for the centre halves.
(I will save this post and refer back to it sometime in September)
Keep it close, you’ll need it daily once the [s:3ho0bzdx]dark side[/s:3ho0bzdx] season starts ;)
The reason the site was down for a short while was that we moved hosting providers and it proved difficult doing this at the same time as my 9-5 job.
Anyway I think I’ve got it sorted now.
short while???
It’s buggered up my world cup prediction chances, I can tell you that!! [/quote]
Griff, let me tell you I don’t need any help! Bugger them up all by myself. ;)John et al., keep up the good work lads. :)
Ive orderd a vuvu for next season summit different in the standsYou might not have peaked early enough, I’m sure someone else will have topped it.
My contribution –
James
Johnson, Terry, Upson, A Cole
Barry, Lampard
Milner, Gerrard, J Cole
RooneyI don’t think we can drop Rooney, just play him in the role he’s been playing all season. For that reason also play Gerrard behind him. Need some intelligence on the field as well so drop the headless chicken approach and play Milner and J.Cole.
Look it up if you don’t know what it means.
If you don’t know how to look it up let me know and I’ll help.Maybe the club do read here ;)I’ll bet they are selective ;)

This made me laugh

I think you’re right :)
