We’ve also been linked with Cameron Jones.
My thoughts on both are, well we really need a striker but these two are gash.
Cameron Jerome???
No – Casey Jones. He’s our new trainer.
(You have to be a certain age to understand that)
We certainly could do with another striker steamin’ and rollin’ round the box
Breathed a sigh of relief when Swansea got Valencia not us….I would have sold one of my kids to get Valencia.
Extra time now and more importantly at Forest too, leaden their legs a bit for Saturday
Personally, I think whoever we get drawn with we’re going to be rank outsiders for progressing to the next stage. So, I’m just looking forward to three mini holidays, hopefully with a bit of late summer sun involved please (Spain, Portugal, Greece) :)
Does anyone know what the record is for a transfer from Championship club to Championship club? Surely anyone in the £10m bracket would be going upstairs, so to speak, and not sideways
I hear there is a great darts team in Wigan. Please can we see their trophies on Saturday. You really don’t realise how stupid you look posting this, do you?
Judging by the reaction of the crowd on Sunday it is an ever decreasing minority that continues its petty feud or whatever it is with Warriors. I must admit I nearly fell asleep watching their game on Saturday but it was worth forsaking Soccer Saturday for once to see a tiny bit of sporting history being made. Nice touch on Sunday, even the Boro fans were applauding.
Come on admin get this shoite off and on to the non football area. Come on Scarborough or who ever else those parasite cuckoo lodgers are playing.A bit childish that mate, if you don’t mind me saying.
Well done Warriors, two top trophies in the cabinet. I reckon ours has a little more magic about it but good stuff nevertheless.
A good win against Boro tomorrow will round the weekend off nicely :)
Mutty’s agenda always revolves around a morbid fascination with attendances. I’d like any random Latics fan to explain why he loathes all Wigan RL and wouldn’t want them to win at Wembley (just a couple of sentences will do, nothing too taxing). Curious, that’s all. Ta :)
I’m not sure who the gobshites are here; the lad that naively asked if there were any coaches going to Bournemouth on which he could have a drink or the people that smashed the nut with the sledgehammer by quoting laws, rules and regulations or the people that took it to extremes by comparing the situation by publicly declaring they had a rash or were going to do a bank job or whatever.
What a load of rubbish.
Which do you think is more likely to cause problems:
The “lad” asking what coaches could you have a drink on, and me replying that you legally can’t. To which he could have replied “Oh, fair enough then. Thanks for the info”, and someone else PM’ing him with details.
Or people who posted “Or you could just sit on your hands and not get involved. I believe it is illegal to pay cash or receive cash for services rendered without informing HM Inland Revenue of the on goings (foreigners) but they’re part of the fabric of society – a bit like having a drink on a bus on the way to a footie match.”
I know which my money’s on.
I’m not suggesting for a minute that anyone should send him ‘details’. I’m suggesting that if someone wishes to read chapter and verse of how the law stands on consumption of alcohol on passenger vehicles, they should maybe do it privately whilst suggesting it isn’t wise to broadcast on an open message board a request to find transport to a match on a vehicle that he can have a drink. Then maybe close the thread so as not to allow a load of bizarre and inappropriate analogies to be posted to bring further attention.
Is that less rubbish and more clear?
If anyone knows of any illegal raves going on this weekend please let me know.I love a party.
Apologies but was this meant to be funny, witty, sarcastic, sardonic, provocative, all or none of the previous? Delete as appropriate. Thank you ;)

If anyone thinks that the police don’t know for a minute that this sort of thing goes on all of the time at every ‘private’ travel company that runs coaches/minibuses for every club, maybe they’re being a little naive. It gets used a lot on this board but ‘Hitler Invades Poland’ springs to mind.
I don’t know how high on the police’s priority list catching coaches with booze on them is but I’d guess they don’t deploy someone to scour football message boards to nail them.
As far as the original poster goes, maybe one or more of the people that allowed it to get really silly could have said ‘Oi mate, don’t be posting that on here, have a look at the private message I’ve sent you’ rather than throw fuel on the fire.
‘Leon Gets Down and Shirty’ in the Mirror
newspaperragOne of the objects of a board like this is to inform. We don’t make the law, but it would be very irresponsible of us to condone acts that are illegal. Whether we agree with the law or not.Or you could just sit on your hands and not get involved. I believe it is illegal to pay cash or receive cash for services rendered without informing HM Inland Revenue of the on goings (foreigners) but they’re part of the fabric of society – a bit like having a drink on a bus on the way to a footie match.
Preferably one that you can have a beer or two on.
Cheers
Legally there’s no such thing.

I see the Puritanical Society for the Prevention of Turning a Blind Eye are out in force again ;)
The police have also released a statement saying that their mane concern is for the steward. They expect him to be in touch with them tomorrow and after the steward’s enquiry, they hope not to be saddled with a huge compensation claim.
