Apparently yes
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/sportsnews/article-5506973/Liverpool-fans-slam-red-Topman-jumper-96-karma-on.htmlI agree George, not very well thought through, though as this article suggests, it was designed by someone that would not have made the connection. Says t is a Bob Marley reference though.
Kind of want them to finish second, like they did for most of the second half Sunday. Shrewsbury play shite football have lucked out a lot this season and I am just waiting for their bubble to burst… I really hope it bursts, as they won’t get through play offs either.
The main concern to a lot of us when we been top of the league …we never actually had breathing space..this time in the season.pulling 9 points back will be hard so fingers crossed for a healthy win on Sunday.
Well the 3 0-0 draws in a row when we were dominant are biting us on the butt slightly.
Level on points with 4 in hand would have been a much better position to be in, but either way it is still in our hands and you can’t ask for much more than that.[/quote]
It’s a good point, hopefully the break we have had over the last 8 days will have done the lads a world of good.
Not quite the massive queues that there were for City????
I think there could be plenty of Wigan players in that final EFL Team of the season, not just Dan Burn.
I’ve heard it is a syndicate (run by a guy who has a famous footballing dad) backed by this betting company in China/Honk Kong.
I don’t know if I am worried or excited about that!!!Ballotts are for when you have 4000-6000 people who religiously go to away games and the club only had 1,000. in the case of Wigan we have around 500 that go to 80% of our away games and they should be the ones that are ring fenced, regarldless off season tickets.
In this case there could very well be 1,000 brand new fans going to Fylde like those that went to wembley for our semi and final, leaving those 500 who go to Gillinham and Charton a Tuesday night at home to watch it on TV. lets see what Thursday bringsCan’t disagree
The away teams are only allowed 15% of the capacity for FA cup games, so that’s 900 so Flyde have done us a favour we all know its crap this ballot but its not Flydes fault.
I have heard that that the SGSA has limited this game to 4,200 therefore not allowing Fylde extra income and making it more impressive that Latics have got almost a third of the ground
Never get anything for free usually, but I assume it is for a promotional opportunity so it is a good thing.
There are probably loads of people out there thinking hospitality is just for rich and big companies.
So if it gets them having their birthdays and special occasions at Latics rather than Frankie and Bennies, it will be a bit more in the coffers for the club.
I have heard this floor it is on will not be charging a fortune to go in either.I haven’t bothered with Vital for a long time now due to the ads freezing up the site, don’t know how those on there cope with it.
This site is fine and so is the Official site and supporters club. WEP is horrible, but like you say, if you’re bothered get an ad blocker.
In defence of some ads, you can get some good ones, I would never have found m an m Direct but for an ad on here :woohoo: Though I haven’t gone for the plenty of fish yet.Even with a couple of million being banked and the wage bill reduced, we will certainly still be running at a pretty sizeable loss that the chair will hopefully get Uncle Dave to subsidise, rather than it being held against the club.
Agree with T to a point, but I don’t think that a whole stand of it would be a goer. In East where they are stood up now is probably the logical place to put it, but does that sit well with WW.
Could well be a pointless discussion, as if DS and JJ are not up for it, there is o chance it will happen anyway, not in the immediate future anyway. It has been very quiet at the Club lately, but saying that I don’t know what I am expecting.
Can’t wait for kappa to go though, their shirts may be great for playing in, they aren’t however built for the average guy.
Got mine in the post, thanks.
Very good read, Ricardo is nuts.
Alcohol whilst watching the game, doubt it would ever come back but very good argument
Very few players leave Wigan and go on to do anything, there are exceptions but we either get the best out of players or sign one’s that are no good in the first place.
Ally McCoist is looking for a new club.
Rangers are probably a similar size outfit to us and he didn’t do too bad bringing them up the leagues in Scotland. -
