Mr Hindley, you are well known to the viewers of this forum for your views and opinions, however, I took exception to the “we the fans” part of your response. A more apt response could have read……..”what me and my mates, oh and a couple of blokes I’ve met in the pub think’ because as I said (and you know my views) you don’t speak in my name nor for the thousands of others who support him and the team……..I’ll not bore you with the blah blah…over the years….blah blah……..poor teams etc etc.
More importantly you, and with some others on here, seek to undermine the confidence of the supporters in what we are trying to do (that is getting behind the team and the manager – just like proper supporters) and in doing so want to transfer those feelings to the terraces which negatively impacts on the players, the manager and the owner.
Love ‘em or hate ‘em mate…..they’re our strugglers, our team and I for one will never let them down and will be shouting, cheering, encouraging and ‘supporting’ them through all of the times (good, bad or indifferent)…….……..as I have always done.

We were even second on MOTD – that must have p****d the United and Arsenal fans right off.It’s strange but some of the D/S on here say the football under Bob is boring and some say they now no longer go to games. But for me I’ve probably got more “never to be forgotten games ” etched in the memory for all time since Bob came. The wins against Chelsea & Liverpool , the comeback against Arsenal , Saturday’s 3-3 , the Stoke last day win and the never , ever to be forgotten West Ham game. If you asked me to mention the most memorable game under Bruce ,I’d have to give it some thought. ( The point at Anfield ? )
Yes , we may be struggling and there are many downs at the moment but when the ups come, us “loyalists ” won’t half enjoy it.
Boring ? – I wouldn’t miss it for the world.

I’m trying to find the identity of the guy below (only a photofit I know) but he was last seen either in a pub, on an armchair or at a bus stop listening in to others conversations – somewhere in Wigan – It could be one of a number of people…..and if anybody else has any ideas then maybe they could name him for me.

Why are you going back to the ‘Sky i player’?…..is that the way you analyze games….cannot make ‘realtime’ decisions?…..need the technology?

Television replays and goalline technology can be the only way forward,Replays…….or goal-line technology?
Goal-line technology is a great way of deciding those contentious decisions; however, for me replays of fouls, off-sides, off-the-ball incidents, was it a corner or not?…….we could go on – stopping the game is not right…..we need the fluidity (and the arguments – it makes great post match discussion). On the fouls part we have seen (Messr. Alcaraz) that justice can be done………
……..now then (and it has been muted before); when it has been seen as blatantly cheating can goals be rescinded? Can this then change the way points are awarded?

This is the first time I have watched match of the day in donkeys…It wasn’t just our toothless inept Officials that got big decisions wrong today, it was across the board. Barton got away with two stone wallers against him, Henry for Wolves got away with it. There were a lot more.
Do we need fresh referees in the Prem? A bit of competition for games, because these obvious mistakes are costing teams points, money and managers.

However, to address your point – the “officials” are now salaried (have been for a few years now)….they have their own committees and regulating bodies and are (should i suggest this) probably as committed to real football as Sepp Blatter is (if you catch my drift).

I feel as if I have watched a different game to a few of the people on here today. Each and everyone (the negative types in particular) have focused on maybe 3 or 4 minutes of a game that lasted 47 mins in the first half and 51 mins in the second half.
I am not going to wax-lyrical about all the good stuff I watched today because psychologically the ‘doomsters’ have already pre-programmed and pressed the self destruct buttons (they can’t help it – and I won’t bore you with the details) suffice to say there is a lot of money to be made in some of the people on here.
There was some real quality from some of our players out there today………..first person to diss this statement I will haunt.
Bandwagon jumpers…we should have stuffed them with them only having ten men and all that – are the same people who cannot remember the chants to Bolton when we went down to 10 men and beat them – this is the feckin premier league….teams practice these tactics; live with it.
We played damn well today…but we drew (so feckin what) – I remember the best ever scoreless draw I have ever witnessed in this journey to Aston Villa a few years ago…..there were mistakes granted, but we played well in a very open (and sometimes suicidal) game…………..
……….however, I wouldn’t want to be the next set of teams, particularly their managers (regardless of ‘status’) facing us because we will be rampant and we will be blessed with that ‘change of luck’ coming our way.
I, for one, will keep the faith.
Think that point as arrived even the numpties on the geoff stelling footie show have sussed martinez and his pathetic statements outIf you think that they are ‘numpties’ then why are you paying any attention to their opinion?……….
