Hard to judge him on that Griff…..would have been better for him if Scharner hadn’t kept going awol and passing to orange shirts again all night, putting eveyone under pressure.

It seemed to me that the vast majority of players from the first minute had no desire to play for Wigan Athletic.
No respect for the fans even though we were yards away from them as they warmed up, no attempts to interact in anyway. They are virtually all using us as a stepping stone,(Whelans own admission) to bigger clubs and the heart has been ripped out of this club.
Keep Martinez, fook the bulk of the players off and lets re build a team that wants to play for us, in what ever league that takes.
To any Blackpool fan looking in, enjoy what you have (reminded me of 6/7 seasons ago at our place) and just hope you don’t get in the Premiership the promised land it ain’t.
I think you have to join in the supporters club/ gym on a home match day. I could be wrong, thats what you used to have to do.

That comment really pished me off when I read it……does he know why folk support Latics, or any soccerball team for that matter, (other than the top 4 pot hunter lot that is)…..I really don’t think he does!

The point you seem to have missed is it is a football ground owned by our football club, by all means rent it out if it gets sone income, but why name anything after some peanut hugging klump who has no affiliation to WAFC.

A warm pleasant mid August night, with a whole new season to look forward to and we couldn’t muster up 15,000 home fans, and those that do turn up don’t get behind the team.I know the home fans haven’t had much to shout about since January this year but we had the chance as a set of fans to put all that behind us last night….. :evil:
