Boyce has always been our best option at right back. Even when Mario was here, Boyce offered more. Unluckily for him though he wasn’t preferred so came in and out the team. Hopefully now he can hold down the position.
Bit of a pointless topic really don’t you think?
Was a drop ball given??
Cribbers very vocally decided to show Stam and Gomez that he wasn’t happy with their comments or actions. It brought pollit and Kirkland from the tunnel along with head steward. Not sure exactly what was said but Cribbley opened a can of whoop ass.
I believe a future role for McCarthey if we keep him, could be playing that position. Needs to add a little to his game, but definately has the temperament for the responsibility. I’d also like to see him captain.
With regards to the formation debate, I would question we actually did finish with 4-4-2. yes Sammon and Rodellaga came on but Hugo continued to play tucked in behind sammon and also seem to rotate the role. Doesn’t matter to me whether you class it 4-4-2 / 4-3-3 / 4-5-1 the fact is we murdered Birmingham and it didn’t suddenly start when Hugo and Sammon came on. Just hope what ever the hell happened on saturday continues till may.
Anyone see the spat between cribley, Gomez and Stam?
Was it not Andreas who was called upon 30 mins before kick off due to a late injury. When he was asked to get warmed up, he couldn’t because he’d eaten plate full of chips sausage n gravy. I s*#t you not.. :snooty:
If we can manage to beat Blackpool and Birmingham.
picking points up against spurs, everton stoke, sunderland and villa.
also beating west ham
then i feel we could still finish above wolves, west ham and blackpool :scared-eek:
If my auntie had a dick, she’d be my uncle. [/quote]
Aye lad, that’s right she would.
I’m knackered after reading that mate…

Think Thomas over mcarthur simply in physical presence. Thomas would give us a bit of muscle against their physical midfield. Think it could be a good game tonight. One for the scrap book!!
Favourites– Barlow,Ellington,McCulloch,Carroll,O’neil,Valencia,Filan
Worst– Peron,Jenkinson,Chimbonda (for being ungrateful) Brannon Kapo
I actually like him. Under performing at moment, but has bags of potential. Flashes of brilliance for his age. Think he will become a decent signing for us.
Over the past 10 years or so, As a result of mr whelan. I have been able to watch my team become one of the best in the country. I am privileged to be part of that. I have enjoyed that time immensely. Night games at Springfield, epic FA cup games away at ewood. Climbing to the dizzy heights of the elite. Our wembly heartache in the playoffs and the celebrations of Cup final in Cardiff. The Mathias era, the jewell era, the Bruce era or the Martinez era past and present. They are all down to one man. You may not like to admit it, but it is.
I feel I’m very lucky to have been part of this journey to where we are now. This thing that happened to Wigan athletic, didn’t happen by accident. It didn’t happen by fluke chance of fate. It happened because Dave Whelan invested his money heavily to finance us. He didn’t ask for anything in
return.I think he has the right to watch his team where ever the hell he likes. I feel he has the right to hold onto any monies that are created through player transfers, and more importantly I feel he has the right to criticise small minded fans like yourself who don’t appreciate what has been gift wrapped and handed to them on a premiership silver platter.
