For all this moaning think I’m misunderstanding the problem. Get a season ticket, get off yer arse in the morning and you will get all the tickets you need. End of. My best mate probably makes it to half of the home games but has a Season ticket so he knows he’s not paying on match days. He might go to about 8-9 away games a year. Reckon only about 500 of our fans have been to more than ten away games and I would be amazed if the lads that have shown such dedication weren’t sorted for Blackpool and Burton. Stop moaning. Buy a ST for peanuts at beginning of season then get out of bed. Jobs a good un!

Currently Gillingham and Walsall can attain 86 points and 89 points respectively. Even if they draw Thesday Walsall can still get 87 meaning we are relying on more than Burton dropping points for us to win the league at the Pirelli or even gain promotion. If Burton get at least a point Saturday we technically can’t win the league at their ground as they will still be able to get 86 points regardless of their result against us.

Beamback used for games midweek over a certain distance normally announced well in advance. Doubt it will be shown.

McCann carrying a knock from Friday. Should start next game. Bit like Bradford game we never gave up and following ‘brewers droop’ we are now odds on to win league and 1-9 for promotion. The strength in the squad Caldwell built has really shone through since new year. Let’s push on and get the job done!

I suppose you are entitled to one good weekend a year. Enjoy it.

Aye. Suppose you Sunderland fans must have had some real belters in last few years!

That was a great 3 points against a tough side. Let’s hope we can go on a winning streak now and put some pressure on the chasing pack.

More and more teams are ganging up on Yanic so wonder if it might be an idea to rest him and start him as sub on Friday. Come on around the hour mark to work his magic. Two games over the weekend so might be worth resting him?

Aye. Suppose it makes sense when he was MOM, only creative player and opposition looked frightened to death throughout game when he got the ball. I mean he’s only either scored or set up nearly every goal we have scored recently. Get the lad benched!

Aye bit a decent striker would have scored more than a goal in 6 games. For a bloke of six foot three he was poor in the air. I’ve seen worse but we have better.

Given they are a category one club with the best facilities in the world, investing 12 million per year into their academy last night’s performance was exceptional. One of their players was recently bought for 2.5 million which is probably more than our first team cost! Great job by the guys running our 18s. Let’s hope a few can step up to the first team in the coming years.

As impressive as we were yesterday we still face a real uphill battle for a top two spot with Burton and Walsall 7/8 points in front if they win their games in hand. We also have to visit both teams.

Throughout the season we have been impressive in beating teams outside the top ten but have only won two games against opposition from the top ten as it stands. No doubt this will have to change if we are to have a go at those above.

Full credit to Jordi Hiwula when he came on. Worked hard, great movement, tracked back and changed the game. Same as Fleetwood. Alongside McCann baffling why some players start as subs given the inept performances of some that start. If we can get the right formation and Yanic firing no reason why we can’t push into the automatic places.

An impact player? Wish we had a few more who could ‘impact’ on the game like him! How many has he created since he’s been here? You can feel the excitement of the fans when he runs at defenders. You can see defenders quake and retreat. When he’s on the pitch chances are created, the crowd sing his name. Players like Yanic are the reason we watch football not the rest of the mundane averagedom we possess in droves. Bloody gutted if he returns. Still. Big Grant will light up the DW soon so not to worry!

Don’t understand. Huge risk only playing him for 11 minutes given he carries more threat than the entire team put together. He’s letting Caldwell paper over a few cracks for me. Once he leaves I worry where our threat comes from.
