Not many brought 5,000 this season that’s for sure. Obviously you will get a bigger crowd for your biggest game of the season. It’s been bloody awful watching latics this season and its testament to the loyalty of the fans that our crowds have stayed over 11k consistently. What about the previous 8 years? You saying that every premier league club brings 4,000? Give over. You come on here waffling on about crowds when the facts are we’ve had more fans on for years and our support is generally seen as pretty poor as it goes!

Not sure what your argument is? (though using other sports games against Lithuania as an excuse is commendable). Over the last ten years now the average for the Rugby has been around 14,500 whereas the average for the football has been around 18,000. Now we have dropped to the championship we still average more don’t we? So far this season we have averaged 12,500, you guys 11,500. Last season we averaged more too. That in a season which has been the most depressive in years.

Even though we have had the poorest season in our history. To compare attendances at home in a recent Friday game against Charlton (who brought hardly any fans) we still got a bigger crowd on than the Rugby managed tonight.

Some of you lads have got a short memory! Don’t you remember they won the cup in 1938 and the First division in 1890. A sleeping giant no less. Not sure what they are basing the idea of being a bigger club on? Despite this being the most miserable season in our recent history with most of our fans having not seen us win a game in over 6 months we still average bigger attendances by around 20% For those of us around pre Whelan that in itself is a benchmark of how far this club has come.

Not sure it’s insignificant. We go to Rotherham in a week or two and can get some pressure on them if we can pick up points before. Two away wins on the bounce can’t be knocked. Pity home forms so woeful.

Fine. Well do us all a favour and fuck off and watch a spectacle that’s more pleasing to ya then. ‘To be honest I wanted to go to see how bad they really were and they didn’t disappoint’. Make your mind up. Yesterday your mate dragged you out out on a freebie when you wanted to watch ITV. What did you expect? Fuckin champagne football from the worst performing team in our history? What kind of prick comes on here trying to piss everyone off telling us how bad we are? We all fuckin know how bad we are. FFS. Some of us go every week not just when we get a free ticket off a mate.

Sorry pal I can’t take you serious.

As a man who openly professes to not attending matches and only went because ‘my mate dragged me though I would rather watch Man City v Barca’ what exactly are you hoping your post will achieve?

It’s plain for us all to see 10 points adrift that the club’s struggling without part time critics popping up stating the bloody obvious. And don’t start with the ‘big tart’, ‘fucking big woman’, ‘do gooder’ jibes hiding behind your keyboard Billy big bollocks! In 35 years I’ve never been ‘dragged along to a game by a mate’ yet. Suggest next time you resist being led by the hand and stay in front of your TV as planned.

                      As predictable as ever Einstein!

A more positive account would have stated that despite the woeful performances served up recently the crowd have very rarely been negative and continue to get behind the team in adversity, the referee tonight was pretty awful missing a hatful of fouls against our players, for his first game in months Bongs debut was a pleasing one where he seldom put a foot wrong whilst we scored two disallowed goals in a contest where we deserved at the very least a point. Let’s hope you dont return anytime soon spouting negative drivel. It’s hard enough at the minute without superfans like you popping up!

These fat mongs are wrecking our pitch. Unbelievable that we continue to allow these scrubbers on in the middle of the season.

The silence from Whelan is deafening! Closing down sale. Below par loan players brought in. Fans hardly raise an eyebrow let alone speak up. Does anybody care? What happened to those meet and greeters who were prepared to get to the ground early to let their feelings for the club show? About time some spoke up now to let those running the club know how we feel and I don’t mean a fans forum with 5 puddings nodding eagerly as Jonathon Jackson jerks em off in the home changing room!

Take note of what? They sold players for 100 million and paid buttons in comparison making a profit. Scottish lads I can think of (MacArthur and Macarthy) were a right disaster eh?
On your attendance point we paid on average less than 15 quid a game in Prem and averaged less than 20000. Southampton average over 30000 and pay over 30 quid. Certainly adds up to more than 2 million!

Not one club has done 8 years in the prem on our paltry crowds let alone ”fluked’ a major trophy (though could have sworn we played the Premier League champions off the pitch after smashing Everton on their own pitch in the quarters). 1979 when Southampton last won a major trophy, hang yer head in shame Whelan!
