No. Get loan striker in, sign another in Jan then get shut of one or both.

Could it not be the likes of Barnett, Boyce, Powell and Macmanaman are just knackered from playing two games every week so tire towards the end? We all have this romantic notion of us being in Europe but its for the best we go out asap now to get back to whats important.

Given Roberts and Ellingtons scoring record in comparison to Holt and Fortunes this season one could argue it makes a modicum of sense to play an attacking midfielder who has scored more than both of them put together this season up front in a game which is hardly vital. Even though he wasnt at his best he still looks better up front than those two.

I would suggest we will see a settled 11. Im by no means his biggest fan but to suggest he hasnt had a tough start with the sheer volume of games and new players would be wrong. Cant believe people cant see its going to be a blessing in disguise to get knocked out of Europe. It cant be our priority and should be seen for what it is: a bit of fun.

That said we have been unlucky. Not a chance did they deserve to win last night and in both games against Kazan we should have got more than a single point following two decent displays. Its bloody frustrating watching us without a striker that poses a threat but again to be fair to Coyle how many of us thought Holts signing was gonna work out like this? I for one expected him to dominate in this league and cant believe he is as bad as he currently looks.

Most fans seem to forget how bad we were under Martinez at times. On several occasions he would have been sacked at most clubs so Coyle should be afforded at least this season. Bedding in so many players will take time and fans need to stop throwing their dummies out and learn to be patient.

Its been obvious for two months we are struggling up front. Half the league seem like they are loaning strikers yet we persevere with these two has beens. Does Coyle watch the same games?

That said. How Macmanaman plays week in week out baffles me. How many Managers would pick Watson and Mccann in front of Mcarthur, Gomez and Roger? Only highlight for us is continued form of Nichols. Cant see us keeping hold of him long. He looks excellent.

Beausejour looked as good as anything in an England shirt. Maclean man of match for Ireland. Given the resources at Coyles disposal he must be the envy of his peers in the Championship.

Thought that was a really brave performance in a notoriously difficult place to travel. We could and should have come away with at least a point and Powell was a class above anything on the pitch when he came on. Play anything like in the last two games and we should be fine to progress.

Isnt fit? He played pre season in America in July and has consistently played in over 10 games since. What exactly does he need to get fit for gods sake? Its now November.

Think people forget that FA cup run apart Macmanaman has been pretty average since he came into the team last year. Certainly those who were claiming he was worth 10 million are basing their opinion on 3-4 games despite him having around 15 mediocre ones alongside them. Ive watched him on the right wing in many games this season where he hasnt beaten anyone and been dragged off an hour in.

Wasnt including Powell as he is a temporary signing. Ill reserve comment on Rogne as aint seen enough of him. Would you say Perch, Holt, Crainey, Mccann and Hounduran invisible full back were top signings? You must have watched too much rugby league in your youth!

I would hazard a guess that the 14 that played the game today are on double the wages of Charlton Athletics team. Of course we cant spend silly Money but Carson and Barnett apart this mons signed some right tripe

Play offs? Are you serious? You mean survival! Apart from Barnsley and Europe weve been consistently woeful. Too many players living on reputation am afraid playing under a Manager lacking in ideas. Im not one calling for Coyle to go but he must be coming under pressure now.

Not sure he hung his hat on Mccann. Surely a squad signing at best. On Fyvie i cant believe people believe he is good enough. Immobile, overweight and over rated are the words that spring to mind. Remember watching him against Bradford in the league cup and he was outclassed by League two players. To suggest he is in the class of Macarthur, Watson, Gomez and Espinoza is fanciful. Am sure the haters will jump on Watson and Gomez but both have dominated games at premier league level before now.

Dont forget Martinez took over a top 6 side. They are currently 7th. I wish him all the luck in the world but fail to see how Martinez making a decent start equates to you forgetting that Whelan runs the club responsibly and ensures the books balance. In fact he is the perfect custodian. Aye. If only Whelan had backed him we would be in bloody Europe by now. Oh wait a minute!!!

Would rather have Ali in myself. Hes our keeper and the fans love him.
