I don’t think any individual deserved to get booed last night, it wasn’t lack of effort, it seemed to be a lack of ideas. We rarely looked like scoring and with the Stoke game fresh in our minds (1-0 up and lucky not to lose at the end) I think there’s a bit of frustration around that we need to be much more effective in the final third, more direct at times, more movement and bodies in the box to get on the end of chances.

I think it’s wrong to boo but I have been disappointed at our lack of ideas in the final third, if a player hears booing I’m sure he would know if it could be aimed at him or not.They need saving now though, I’m sure they could come up with some longer term fund raisers for next season and beyond.
I was editing when you were replying and done through season tickets it doesn’t seem so bad. I should also have said that the fans would then at least get a share in the club, as they’ve saved it.

I’ve got sympathy for the fans but if they really care that much, I’m sure they could buy the club out, my maths could be wrong but if 20,000 of them chuck in 1,000 that would raise 20,000,000 and the tax bill is only 7,000,000 ! The players would even get paid on time for a change.
Come to think of it, if they could persuade 20,000 fans to buy season tickets for next season now, that would do it, I appear to be a genius.Well done Filmoss, I don’t get many replies so you’re doing well. On this meal anal ogy thing, I paid £28 to feast at the Everton game and came out starving whereas the fat lads last night only paid £14 for a snack and came out busting, they still only managed 12400 diners. Waiter, waiter there’s some shoite on our table !
