All down to Blackburn game.
If we do manage to get in there and not bottle it, who would we prefer over two legs, Derby or QPR.
For travelling it would be Derby as the away game would be a Sunday, how many would make the trip to QPR on Monday night?
For playing on paper, Derby are the form team and so QPR might be the easier of the two.
Or do you not give a flyer and will worry about it when and if it’s decided?
Unfortunately the way were playing at the moment we’ve not a chance regardless.
I tend to agree with that but I am a glass half empty kind of guy !!!!! :(
We won the cup for 80 minutes so it was a great starting line upSubs were fine but Nick made one wrong decision. He is only young and in years to come we will be so chuffed that he played for us for a short while
Caldwell is our leader and he hit a penalty that was saved. Keeper guessed right
Crainey man of match in a team performance that was immense. We were playing one of the best teams in Europe
Shame their fans aren’t as classy
Hit it at a nice height and no power ,keeper was almost embarrassed to save it.
Like to know peoples take on Powell because since his injury he’s being doing my nut in. When he first came he was obviously our best player and carried us for the early part of the season, however it’s gone to his head. Since his injury he seems content to strutt around, try the ridiculous and not put a shift in.
This forum is littered with abuse for the likes of jordi, Watson and Caldwell but Powell has so far seemed immune.
Yesterday was the tipping point for me, macca was playing great then Powell came on strutting his stuff, did you see collision give him an earful saying come in lad put it in? Now I’m not saying we would have won if macca stayed on but we certainly lost something in attack.
I think he has always been a lazy git.. Because he was scoring goals In the early part of the season this seemed to go unnoticed. He really does think he is a big time Charlie, can see this chap playing in the lower leagues if he doesn’t change his attitude. Was gutted when he came on yesterday.
Full agree thinks the sun shines out of his arse, well news for him it doesnt get real and put a shift in .
When our midfield receive the ball Maynard is already making a run into space, the fact the midfielders dont seem able to spot him isnt his fault.
Either we play to his strength or dont use him,he is a forward who makes forward runs not waiting till the ball comes to him.Im going to give it to boyce. Absolute rock at the back. In my eyes one of the best & most unsung heroes ever to wear a latics shirt.BOYCE was immense today cant praise him enough.
God bless.
He had a goal disallowed before we levelled the score,if you noticed.
sad to see the back of him , prolific player, 17 games
…..
Thank God, not one of RMs better buys … only ever turned up against Wet Spam
surely you are joking Ramis oozes class.
He’s strong and has got a bit of pace about him. He will be a good loan signing for us.Not long though a month.
WIGAN ATHLETIC FA CUP WINNERS 2013 nobody can take that away, disrepectful or not.
3–3 would you believe it.
I thought the applause for Jordi was genuine as he was by far our most industrious midfielder.
In my view he ran Ramis and Barnett close for the MOM award, and was also my MOM on Boxing Day although he only played 45 minutes.thought he was the wrong man to make way,he was head and shoulders above other midfielders.
Spookily qauiet
That’s the worst misspelling of quiet I have ever seen, not fooking close! :woohoo:
Ha ha
be fair he only brushed the a.
I know a woman in beech Hill who likes balls in her box.Immense? He was good.
Going to Swettenham tomorrow, anyone been lately?
Might try a light stick shotted down, or balsa if the flow is strong.
Grayling.
well you would.
We put enough balls in the box for a decent striker to have the ball up his jumper at full time.Jordi was immense today.
