Just been down and picked my tickets up Got there at 8.00a.m. only 6 people in front of me, by the time the ticket office opened at 9.00 I would say about 30 people in the queue. Someone said that they had sold 16,000 tickets yesterday. A lot of the cheaper £45.00 tickets have gone. We wanted the £85.00 tickets in block 107, where we sat last week, but they had all gone. Gone for a similar location on the other side in block 114 and then we had to get a four and a four couldn’t get 8 together.
Alcaraz off injured !!!! :(
Jean B is on Figs back to centre back.
Started really well.
Come on Latics
Did say survival was dependent on kone and alcaraz staying fit … hope he’s back very soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!![/quote]
HAMSTRING :woohoo:
That’s what we get when we don’t strengthen our team.We lost two players Jones and Miyacki(sp) Why did we allow Jones to leave? We had the smallest squad to start with. If we had anyone who was a clinical finisher we would have had 6 points from our last two games. WHY do we try and walk the ball in the net??? But in saying that our shooting is woeful
Which wasn’t much good to start with
$250 for a World Series game at Yankee Stadium 10 years ago :(
Why Di Santo instead of McManaman???should have scored two goals if he was anything like as good as he thinks he is. Oh forgot he plays with Messi for Argentina.. Wouldn’t have him selling programmes
Neil Rimmer Latics Legend?????You are joking :woohoo: The guy let Latics pay his wages for two years, whilst he was out so called injured B) Then buggered off to another club when his contract was up. To some people on these boards if you played for the Latics you are a LEGEND
The first in line should be the people, who in the dark days of the 1980’s when the club was on the brink of folding, met in the Queens Hall and pledged/gave money, to keep the club going, All the people who gave money received a certificate.
It was called the LIFELINE APPEAL How many on here have one?
Then next Shareholders, who since DW took over have been pushed right off the radar. There can’t be many left. After attending the last few Shareholders Meeting. There have only been about 25 people in attendance. :(I wasn’t complaining about the breakfast :P Just letting people know. My mate said he saw someone having a cooked breakfast which you could purchase as an extra. but I ain’t a breakfast person myself so the cereal and toast was more than adequate for me. Just booked again for me and my daughter, now gone up to £53.00. Could have booked the hotel in Kensington but the £60.00 difference will buy us an evening meal. I ain’t fussed in traveling on a 1/2 hour train ride. from Victoria… I dont know if it would be shorter going from London Bridge??? Did anyone go that way?
Thanks for the info on the Weatherspoons pub. Do you know the name of it?I went on the Co-op deal stayed at the Queens Hotel Crystal Palace Nice hotel but the breakfast is basic only cereal and toast O.K. for what we paid £45.00 including train fare. 1/2 hour from Victoria on the train then a 15minute walk or a 5 minute bus ride, probably 3 mins. in a taxi. Be warned it’s a steep hill from the station to the town centre then about a 1/4 mile walk to the hotel
We stayed in the lounge at night with a crowd of Latics fans and ordered a takeaway, like a lot of others, as we couldn’t be bothered walking back into the town where there were a few restaurants. Beer was fairly cheap too.Was talking to a couple with a young lad in a wheel chair in our hotel on Saturday night. She said a big rough Millwall fan took a shine to her son as they were pushing his wheel chair down Wembley way after the game. She said he came over to him shook his hand and gave him £20.00 and then proceeded to walk in front of them moving everyone aside until they got to the tube station. Must say quite a few Millwall fans came up to us In London after the game and shook our hands and said ‘Good Luck, you deserved it no complaints’ It’s just the ‘BOYS’ of the old brigade from 30 years ago that want to perpetuate this “WE ARE MILLWALL” mentality. Like in every walk of life there are decent people.
Hey Frank you are a clever man. What people can do on a computer still amazes an old guy like myself ;)
The club can’t disclose how many tickets we have sold, because they are still on sale until 12.00a.m. ;) Could be a mad rush in the last hour :)
