My predictions are:-

Burn will go to West Brom, Colclough, Cole and Flores will all be sent out on season long loans. I’ve also a sneaky feeling Powell will be gone regardless of Grealish leaving Villa and he’ll will be replaced with Josh Windass.

Spurs wants Grealish, Grealish wants Spurs, Villa want £30 million so the deals off.hopefully that’s put Powell’s move on ice

What about Pogba wanting 200 grand a week pay rise and Courtois not turning up to force a move. Players are now running the game.

There not, agents are, their 15%-20% sell on fees then their brainwashing players into moving are spoiling the game. There needs to be a cap on agents fees and every club to sign to it. Anyone who breaks it gets deducted points as fines don’t work.
Where’s the fair play spending gone ? I try not to watch the Prem, it’s overpaid pussys rolling around for 90 mins, Grealish will fit in like a glove

Not a patch on chelsea’s world record bid of £71m fee to sign Athletic Bilbao goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga.
He’s 1 cap for Spain, unknown to most football fans. It’s official football has lost its money marbles, it knocks me sick

It’s not a case of if but when regarding the takeover. I’m pretty sure they’ll be having input into what the club can do player wise.
As I’ve said before, once the club gained promotion this takeover should have been done n dusted. This delay leaves us in limbo land not knowing who’s allowing what.
Imagine you own a company and your still trading while your going through been bought out. I don’t think the new owners would be best pleased if you started selling off your best stock weeks before the take over. If we sold all 2 for £10 million that would be a 3rd of the value of the club.I’m sure IEC know and will have the last say.

Let’s just hope Cook has funds ready to bring in quality replacements.
Pennington from Everton mentioned again which points to Burn leaving

I suppose, reading between the lines, Cook dropped a hint at the weekend when he said there’d definately be more signings before deadline day.

Which in turn means there’s a few leaving to make room. I’ve a gut feeling Powell is off, its just not good business to keep hold of him and risk getting nothing next summer. Were a club who cannot risk that happening. I don’t think Villa will look after him with kid gloves on like Latics did

He’s one year left on his contract and tonight I think the body language of Grealish said he’s just played his last game for Villa. When the bigger clubs come calling there’s nothing you can do bar barter till you get as much as you can.

I just hope Cook has this all in hand with Burn set to go and Walker heading off to Rangers.

It was like a well balanced nutritional feast of football, strength at the back, width with pace from both sides, an actual forward thinking first time passer of the ball in Gibson and the hard work of Massey and Morsey breaking play up.
If I had one criticism to make it would be Griggs positional play. When the ball was whipped into to box he tended to go far post behind or upsides of the defender rather than peeling off and coming across the defender to the near post but if he’s pulling players out of position for others to score goals who am I to critise

Gibson showed that bit of class today. Always looked like he had space and the majority of attacking threaded balls were hit first time and on the button.

I’m Just made up we now have pace down both flanks and players who can actally cross a ball with James and Robinson. We just need Grigg to start getting on the end of them and we will do well in sure.

All’s I can say is, it were a proper entertaining game, belting great smashing

He’s only 1 year left on his contract if bigger/richer clubs come calling then the only thing we can do is get the best price possible like we did with Wildschut. Which leaves us no time to replace.
Problem is, who’s in charge to authorise ins and outs ?, Farsical

I just hope the £750,000 – £1,000,000 we get from the McClean to Stoke sell on clause is given straight to Cook. Myself many others do not want to see another relegation scrap all due to a lack of investment. If you read into this IEC who’s taking over then concerns would be raised.
They might be well off but the majority of the funds raised to buy the club is on loans therefore keep safe and risking jack shit of their own personal wealth’s.
Cup, I once worked for a millionaire owner who was very successful in everything he did. He once said to me and I quote “if you ever go into business for yourself never ever use your own money. Always borrow it if you can because if things go wrong you will still have your own personal wealth to fall back on ” . So if you think about it it makes sense oddly enough.
No club the size of Wigan should ever take 10-12 months to be taken over. I feel sorry for Cook, he should have known months backs his budget whether it be good or bad.
If Powell and Burn get sold this season will be one long haul. It makes you think this IEC have other motives with this takeover. A part of their business leases for events, makes you think
