I think Macca’s carrying a knock but if he’s fit enough to sit on the bench then I’m sure there’s 15-20 in him.
We just lack that inovation in the last 3rd, never enough men in the box when needed (a midfielder or 2). Robinson scared to push and run especially when you’ve pace like him.
But for me, I know Gibson was out of sorts tonight but he needs to come into the middle and dictate rather than playing in front of the center halfs

Alot of players were off colour tonight. Powell was no were to be seen 2nd half. As someone else also pointed out, Gibsons passing ?, constantly gave the ball away. Garner ?, 100% effort but couldn’t buy you a goal.
Yes Swansea were playing good football but a simple shift onto his left or a dink over a flat out keeper by Grigg would have took all 3, very poor by Grigg.
I’ve said it all along, we lack a young hungry forward sat waiting in the wings

I heard tonight it’s all about Whelans statue and feng shui. They want it turning 90 degrees but he can’t the thought of facing Sharpes failed chippy and the money he lost for all eternity

Well, funny you should say you heard a rumour, I heard from a guy who was dredging the duggy near the ground that the takeovers def happening next week and the first ten rows are coming out to make way for a Hong Kong Trotting Track.
After every Saturday home game the pitch will become a giant outdoor casino with roulette and blackjack tables and slot machines galore and a huge zip wire stretching north to south.
The South Stand bar Will be renamed to “The Kim Wow Wow ! lap dancing Club” and the Blue Chip becomes the “Blue Strip Bar”.
We are changing are strip to a karate kit to put fear into the oppostion more on the lines of Hong Kong Phooey (with mask).

I know it’s only a rumour but this is what the dredging guy told me so I’ve gotta believe him

Gees, I’m shocked. I’d not spoken to Owen for about a year as I stopped going in the supporters bar.
I worked with/for Owen and his first wife in the early to mid 80’s when he was at his busiest from the office down the side of the Berkeley Square. Top chap always had time for you and a smile to boot.
Can someone please keep me updated with funeral arrangements
R.I.P Owen, and play the music nice n loud up there

All the more reason we need to be taken over. This takeover is just becoming one big joke. Thier not daft, they must be waiting on us going up this season

If that’s the case then Jewell is partly to blame for Ellingtons departure .
Pretty much all of us have worked with someone who we dont get along with but we still do our job and a kinda funny way theres an underlying mutual respect purely because your both good at what you do.

The greatest managers in years gone by are those who get the best out of players they don’t getting along with.
I’m not sure who’s at fault but I’ll always wonder if the Roberts/Ellington would have caught fire in the Prem, shame

At the end of the day Wigan had a strict wage policy and Ellington wanted a better deal so off he went.
Then abit later on in came Bruce who Whelan backed to the hilt were they threw the wage policy down the duggy and in turn nearly turning us into the new sheep shaggers.
I prefer the “If you don’t like it fook off” approach no matter what Division were in and maintain a well run club.

Ellington preferred the money rather than showing the Prem what him and Roberts could do.
Am I right in thinking he had injury problems near the end of his time at Wigan ?
