Bob has left. Been a bumpy ride but he wont be forgotten.
Bob who ???? :)
It could be none of them and martinez is just hanging fire for another club to make him a better offerThat makes more sense :)
So you honestly think that a bunch of nobhead councillors are so concerned about Wigan Athletic enough to rush planning through for Monday for the simple reason they don’t wan’t to be blamed for Martinez leaving Wigan ??
Yep, they’ll be shiitin their trollies when the “blue klux klan” roll up at their front doors !
Jesus wept .. I bet they don’t even know who Martinez is
It’s a case of what’s on offer elsewere. You either know now or your having a snifter round see what else is going and if it’s no better I’ll take sloppy 2nds on Wigan.
Go, and what I can’t get my head round is , if it’s Stoke what will be primary task ?
Survival ? That’s not progress.
Unless they think he can get them into the Champions League ,,, :S
You can bet Martinez’s meeting next Monday is about one thing and one thing only “Next season’s budget”.
With so many players either out of contract or ready to jump ship to bigger and better things we could need anything up to 12 players. If the money ain’t there then why should Martinez stop ?. Whelan need’s to take that one last big gamble and put the money down and feck to budgets but my head say’s he won’t.
And if he doesn’t and Martinez does go ? God help the next guy, he’ll have weeks to rebuild a side unless he’s already here.So on that note Graeme Jones would probably be Whelan’s choice, just for the simple reason he know’s the club and right now we don’t have time to rebuild. But if things were to totally change then Jamie Carragher, nevermind stats and coaching till the cows come home , there’s alot to be said about player respect within the game and her might stop us leaking goals for fun.
Why should Whelan invest any more money?
The club posted a profit last year, so why would anyone want it taking going straight back into debt again?
Errr , could be something to do with there being 300 million on offer in the Prem for say 3 seasons as apposed to 50 odd million in parachute payments. You can’t take the feckin thing with ya !!!, you talk as though the guy’s down to his last 20 quid…
here’s another similar clip ;-
And I wonder, who out those still under contract have “get me out of here !” clauses now were down ?
Kone ?,
I’m just preying to God it’s Boselli !, If he does I bet he scribbles it out.
Both wrong
CHOOO! WHOOOO !!

I think the stewards, especially the fire steward, should be praised for their heroics in the way they handled the smoke bomb incident in the first half. I’d like to know how many other clubs would have had the foresight to ensure a bucket of sand was on hand to deal with such a potentially life threatening incident. How slow was the old fella ?? ref should have added 10 minutes on …..
Looks like were back on Manager the merry go round for another week as Martinez confirms he will reach a decision next Monday.
Must have seen the Mourinho situation on SKY SPORTS NEWS and faxed over his CV.
No, he’s a year left on a 4 yr deal.
Barcelona type, “play it from the back” football comes at a cost, you must be prepared to concede goals. Barcelona very rarely keep clean sheets but our 75 goals against is boardering on suicidal !!.
You can’t blame the FA cup on the way we played against an out of form Swansea side + without Michu and a 10 man QPR.
I would have sooner took a chance on a fit Golobart against Swansea over a hip injured and couldn’t run Caldwell, crazy.
Caldwell played against Swansea only because he was fitter than Golobart.
Are you on about health or looks ???
