I have resorted to clearing out the kitchen cupboards lostock and came across two bottles of malt, sadly they were malt vinegar, which is just as well as my window cleaner ran out and apparently vinegar is perfect for the job.
That season under Swain was appalling, there were similarities in the late goals but we are nowhere near as bad as that season, quality, entertainment whatever measure.
I agree with vince, if this season is to finish, it should finish on the rules that it started on. Next season u can have whatever rules u want as long as they are set before it starts, so u could have a short season, only one set of fixtures etc etc
Future of society as we know it vince, when the tori’s are bailing companies out with wages u know something is wrong
Thought he made a lot of sense
Or rather Shandy!Sandy is for a different thread!!!
Sandy bass, I felt proper grown up will one of those
Simple lemonade for me lostock. We also used to get a fish van though.
Will it be mushrooms, fried onion rings, we’ll have to wait and see
For those of a certain age…..Good sensible move
Interesting one this.
Many cast aspersions on Latics and Milan at the time, the reality is a bit different and perhaps we should comment on fact rather than making stuff up.
We also have no right (but a big interest) to know someone’s personal medical info so a silence or a diversion in this case is very justified from the club, this isn’t like a hamstring that is a football injury and it does take some courage to come out and explain the situation.
Most importantly good luck to the lad, hope he has a speedy recovery and can see a future for himself. Thanks rp, probably deserved a better response than the one u got.
Interesting that in the year immediately b 4 we wr sold we made a 7m profit! Cant remember who we sold that year, wildschut perhaps, and maybe he was sold so that the club looked more attractive to buy.
(Financially)
Does show what sharp has constantly said about costing a million a month to run the club, deep pockets needed to do that, or pocket money for some.I just bided my time and went at the end Edwards, your choice of pie is limited but the queue is shorter…..
My highlight was the Bombay potato pie, nice half time treat. Really good save by their keeper at the end, other than that zzzzzzz, low quality low action but not the end of the world, Hull and Charlton continue to drop like stones
