Let’s not be too full of doom and gloom,after all we are second and made a point up on first. Sometimes you draw games in a season it isn’t the end of the world. Should have won though….. don’t think the sending off helped, it just forced an all out defence with the odd break. It is tough to get though a well organised team doing that.
With you on this Nuneaton, I was avoiding posting on this topic but think I should. Discrimination isn’t banter or just a bit of fun, it affects people in many ways, whatever the discrimination. She has stood up for herself and in doing so highlighted so many issues. I say well done to her and she should be proud of herself. We as supporters should also be proud of someone highlighting issues that blight the game and wider society.
Not as far fetched as it sounds this, you could see Everton going for Dyche then there being knock on effects. Too many names available though such as Allerdyce and Moyes though for it to roll down to us imo.
Personally I have nothing against the rugby, it just isnt on my radar at all. Ref the contract with the rugby, I would be surprised if there isnt a change of ownership clause that allows for arrangements to be cancelled, I see that a lot in commercial contracts that I work with. Typically if one party changes ownership either party can give notice, notice is typically stipulated and the clause is typically timebound from the change.

I find England torture, I always watch simply because I love watching football, whether it is us live, England, the women’s tournaments. But England qualification is always dull, then we build up to the tournaments in hope, we all watch and are ultimately nearly always disappointed, apart from Italia 90 and euro 96 (which ultimately were disappointing to go out of)the tournaments a big let down. My approach is simply to enjoy the rest of the tournament.
As for Wembley, it just isnt the same watching England compared to the club, the best it got for me with England was being behind the goal when Beckham stuck that free kick in at old Trafford to qualify us for a tournament, cant remember which one!Thanks for this, it is a really interesting and stimulating post. One key factor in this is of course how long for and how much will the ownership support loses, and whether they will do it in such a way that the club isnt left with ever increasing debts, that will be important for the future. There will come a time when an ownership change may be required and that will be a key moment for the club… If it doesn’t mean the end of the club then we will still have football to watch, maybe like the old days (non league, div 3 n 4 , maybe more like the current days. I have enjoyed them all just some a bit more than others! The financial part of the game isnt something I personally look at particularly but it kind of does make u think a little about the what ifs.
Think u r right there about our strength, sometimes though you can get a really tight squad that sticks it out so lets see about Shrewsbury. I personally think we haven’t clicked yet and there is a lot more to come. Hopefully the management team are focussed on keeping everyone together and when looking strongly placed getting the plans in place early so we are strong next season. He says jumping ahead! Good stuff so far though, I am very happy with our start
