Yes thanks Boycey. This as all been said when he didn’t take up our clubs offer.A great servant and amply awarded during that period. Good luck to him if he can squeeze anymore money out of the game of which has made him a very wealthy man.
A left winger. That’s two with the Bowton Mon. Hope Jacobs doesn’t drive us crackers!
Celtic fans??? Replace fans with self centred racist bigots and you are getting closer.
What history book is that Moonay.
Ireland was occupied by the Vikngs for hundreds of years before the Kings of the different provinces spent a couple of hundred years at war with each other before one of these kings asked Henry the 2nd to help him out and the rest is history. Ireland was annexed and became a part of the UK. Eventually the South gained independence with the Northern Province of Ulster staying within the UK. The south became poor before it prospered through Euro handouts but again even with massive freebies from the Germans and UK the South struggled again in Greek style. I reckon its just easier checking on an atlas where Londonderry is. Definitely the UK unless history has changed recently. This is going to be an interesting season. Just hope the fans are patient and don’t expect miracles to happen straightaway. Like I said yesterday all these new players will take a while to gel in together and learn to understand each other. This is a complete new start for the club on the field and off and there will be more changes before the end of August. If this can be pulled together this season well that is fantastic but these wholesale changes may take longer than a pre-season to really work effectively. Other clubs will have head starts on us n the way of settled squads so our support and part in this is vital. We can all differ in opinion about many things but the one common factor is our love for Wigan Athletic and our part in this is just as big a part as Garys or the players.
Reece James from Manchester United signed a three year deal too.
Well they should look at a Atlas Ant or ask Bill Hunter.
Squire the lad is from Londonderry which makes him a citizean of this nation. Not sure if he has a Grandad or Uncle or a distant relative from the republic that allows him to play for them but Londonderry is as much part of this country as Bristol, Middleborough or Keswick.
Ha ha. That lump from Wolves. World beater! Worse than Fortune. Maynard the previous year shite! Rather see our own youngsters.
Yes loanees. Have any loanees we have ever had worked out??? Gillesbie sort of. Powell for a while. Hope they do and are not just in a long list overated underworked premier league big headed posers. Worse still Judas’s posers.
I think the club would secretly settle for mid-table to stop the slide and consolidate ready for a push to just outside the play offs the next season. Can not see any evidence yet of quality players to push for 100 pts. Again a squad should be settled going into the start of a season having played regulariy in the previous and closed season. Our squad has still to see players coming and going with pre season quickly going. I think a season to build up understandings and team spirit with a mid table position would be great and anything above that a bonus. Hopefully strong teams in all three cups with some good cup runs to build up morale and confidence for next eason too.
Well the chairman said he wanted fifteen players in. Well that is fifteen out and there will be more. What is the point of close season. How the frig is Gary meant to prepare for a season when its change change change. Still time for more to go. I reckon Perch, Huws, McGann and Holt before the end of August. Only ones we will keep on championship salaries will be Cowie and Taylor.
Well at least he is West Broms embarrassment now and not ours. We do not have to make up any excuses for him anymore.
The Americans in Boston and New York who put their money into collection boxes to fund republican terrorists may have a little idea what he is on about.
Waghorn has never looked spectacular. Couldn’t understand why we bought him after his loan period. Didn’t see that much of Tavs but he had had a good season with Rotherham in the third tier.
