He will be cashing in while he can. Imagine the stick Whelan will get next year when he keeps the prices the same, especially if we go down !
Try calling the ticket office and they allow you to pick up, seems to work when I have tried it
It is strange but from my recollection the football season starts every year in August and goes through to May. Anyone who wants to go to watch a game, or has ever watched a game knows how to find out about games/times etc it isnt difficult. Advertising would help but not much.
Maybe if we started winning a few games and creating better atmospheres at games then people would come back, over the last 5 years in the prem we have bottled/fluffed virtually every major game, so all the floating fans that do come along dont want to come back.
I wouldn’t mind if these posters had credible arguments, rather than shouting and stamping of feet. Better yet had logical arguments about the way forward. !
Maybe its an egg chasing thing, blind fury at a lack of food or something !
See I can pluck positives out of any poor game, I actually work for Martinez in his statement preperation…. or maybe the drugs are kicking in :ugeek:
fair point, my comment is based on the Sjoke game when we brought thomas on and gomez, the shape of the team was lost in midfield. I thought last night, passing wasnt great which could be attributed in part to the pitch, but as a unit there was support at the back and players going forward. Apart from the first 10 minutes when we were determined to try and give the ball away in the back 4.
I do think that if we stick with that team then we will start to click in front of goal.
Well said lads.
Imagine a world where encouragement made a difference, imagie a world where there was only 1200 on watching “that diabiolical rubbish”, imagine we had a manager who cared for the club, who encouraged his players… I tell you the world has gone mad.
As has been said, we dont need “fans” like you, warm fans who only enjoy the good times and criticise when it becomes hard. I would take the JCL fans above those like you who think that you cant make a difference.
And as for the performance last night, yes a very dull game but we seemed to work as a unit last night which was encouraging.
Well stmatts, you hit the nail on the head. Martinez wasnt clapping the poor pass, but to try and support his player and keep him motivated. Maybe thecomedian near to you will work that out before the end of the season !
Dull game yes, but get behind them !
You watch, tonight will be the night for Scotland !
17,286, 8,000 of which will boo scotland when he goes off !
You wouldnt need to hold your breath on moses, he will just part the water !!
And dont forget Labour not only bankrupt the country, place every working person in this country with 30k of debt. They also sold off our gold reserves before the price rocketed 5 years ago…..
I think we need to place the country in the hands of an ITV reality show dictator, they cant get any worse……
The problem is that the game has changed since the 60’s, players have more power and the finance in the game puts more pressure on managers. Yes most fans want to have a Wigan legend as manager and to be successful.
There are those who want the sucess the media paints of the premiership and there are those who want to try build a legacy….!
Yeah tea bag head, stop being so positive and put us down for relegation. The manager, the tactics, the fans and the racism will send us down, dont forget that !
We may have been dragged into a long ball game in the secodn half because the midfield didnt want the ball, the amount of times when the ball went into midfield, without looking to turn they played the ball straight back. Bramble and Caldwell had little option.
