Thanks Nuns I’m getting one for me and one for my son but as all my muscle is hidden under some padding, I need to know how they fit.
I’m still in denial that we’ll surviveIt’s gonna be painful all season watching our former stars performing for other, undeserving teams.
All we can do is find and support our new stars as they emerge.Thats a great idea but unfortunately the cost would be astronomical and the administrators know it.
The whole situation stinks it does need properly looking at as there is a conflict of interest where any administrators will profit from dragging things out.
One crumb of hope I carry is that if we liquidate Begbies don’t get paid, so they won’t want to let that happen after spending what feels like forever handling our affairs.
I feel exactly the same, I’ve gotta wait until payday before I can donate any more or buy a season ticket (fingers crossed).
Maybe if the admins sell the season tickets they’ll £5 a go?
If we ever leave the DW I’m going down there with a chisel. I want my bricks from the Wall of Hope I paid for!
The last 48 hours has really restored my love and faith in football. I didn’t think we’d get half of the target, but as ever, we’ve defied the odds and now showing the football world “this is how you support your club”.
It’s typical Latics to set a new precedent of the football family rallying round to support each other. What I have loved the most is how this fundraising campaign has brought fans, players, officials and even politicians from all clubs together as we’ve all remembered how much we love football and our own individual clubs.
I would really love to see the Supporters Club create a banner, to be displayed at every game, that says “thank you to everyone who helped us”.I’ll stop typing now, I’ve got something in my eye!
As a pure guess, the £500k would be to pay the running costs of playing matches, just so we can start the season. This would hopefully buy time after Monday’s deadline if it’s needed. I don’t think there is any legal reason for the deadline, Bunglers just set it to encourage some bids.
There’s no way any deal for us isn’t sorted before 11.59 on Monday night. Latics can’t do things any other way.
God knows what state we’ll all be in by then!
They could do with extending it for a few more days as people will have to wait for payday. I don’t think the administrators helped by announcing the deadline of the 31st as it’s made our situation look a bit hopeless.
Is anyone else starting to get suspicious about these administrators?I blame Kendrick! Trying to be positive, bloody rubbish Kendrick!!
At least it’s given us something nice to think about.
