I can take it! I know who wears the trowsers in the Do household. Otherwise the name would be fatmadoesn’t
Ta – hope it’s dry as i dont think the missus will be up for getting wet.
Does it count that i’m a real fan if i go corpoprate and site with the enemy?
Let’s not get carried away with Figgy. We seem to be forgetting the number of times he does a good impression of a thugby player kick between the sticks.
Take nothing away though, absolutely stunning goal though!
It’s just a pity that the premier league teams don’t give him the time that Forest gave him in front of the box.
A highlight does not tell the real story. Celab Folan scored what in effect was a priceless goal against Man City (and for that alone he was worth the transfer fee) which gave us 3 points in a season we needed them.
But one swallow does not maketh a summer.
As I said, he did score some goals but a gifted football player he was not!
That’s a bit unfair on CH. He started like a house on fire and the first 2 games the football was excellent – but it was all through Heskey and when he broke his foot in the Fulham (I think). In fact he probably has the record as the manager of latics on the one and only time we were top of the league (for one night only).
Seemed CH had no plan B when Heskey was injured.
What about the Norwegian midfielder we took on (can’t remember if it was a loan) who Gamst-Pedersen tried to pursuade to join Blackburn instead of Latics.
I seem to recall he made one appearance against Chelsea and did a back pass from the half way line to Pollit, which was intercepted by a chelsea player who scored.
I don’t think he made another appearance.
Whjat was his name?
Keeping to the Scandinavian theme, there was also Andreas Granqvist. Was he so forgetable that no one mentions our swedish wonder boy, Andreas Johansson? Apart from his abilty to control the ball with his chest, I marvelled at every occasion I saw him. How did anyone think he was up to it?
I have to concede that he did actaully score some goals, which differentiates him from some of the aforementioned gentlemen. But utterly crap!I discussed this with my son the other day – I agree but I don’t think it is Chelsea holding it up (DW sending out a smoke screen). I think Wigan don’t want to see Moses turning out against them on Sunday (the fans won’t like it and Moses will become an anti-hero). So the deal will be done next week – I guess.
Victor Moses will sign for Chelsea on Monday or Tuesday next week.As they want to sign him, obviously they rate him as a player and are wary of what he could do to them this weekend.
So, Chelsea are fully prepared to pay the asking price for Moses, but only after they’ve unsettled him and either lost him his place in the Wigan starting eleven on Sunday, or made sure he’s so preoccupied with his impending move that’s he’s totally ineffective.
Martinez now has to decide whether Victor is up for it and wants to impress Chelsea, or if he’s likely to be a liability because he can’t be bothered playing – as has tended to happen when things don’t go his way.
Personally, I’d leave him out of the side.
Well, that’s my opinion anyway.
Let’s hope he takes us to the level!
WTF.
OMG..[/quote]
FFS
it worked though
i agree, that’s what i said to her when she said no!
i don’t suppose she woudl be open to changing her name by deed poll then?
Amazing, for the first time in 2 weeks I was feeling frisky last night but I can’t understand why Mrs Do got all upset, I mean, I only suggested that she change her name to Roberta and talk dirty to me in a Spagin (Spanish – Wigan) accent.
Miserable cow!
far too subtle for me I’m afraid.
