I liked the earlier clip from Barbados last week when he was singing his support for Coyle.
I suppose it has to be like that as until you make your mind up (he’s going) then you have to show your full support.
Poor Dave, he doesn’t half put his foot in. First he starts being diplomatic – Owen and I will stay on good terms and have respect for each other …. then the boot in … he didn’t get on with me, the players or the fans……respect?

Good bloody riddance Coyle – Dave you cocked up, don’t do it again!

Only one thing that doesn’t seem to ring true is; isn’t AF ever present watching moyes?
Popping over to Barbados to see uncle Dave for an over nighter.

Last few years we have been a small fish in a very big pond. This year we are a big fish in a small pond.
Last year our B team made championship teams look like league 2 teams.
This year we have a squad that most championship teams would die for.
This year our A team looks like a league 2 team.
There is only one person who needs a reality check!

Worth bringing back to the message board – he was right – the players look like they don’t give a shit and I am totally demoralised – seriously considering not turning up again until DW gets rid of him.

We have quality players and they either sit on the bench or play like lower league players – why ? it can only be down to Coyle!

DW – you made the mistake – fix it!!!

I have remained silent and have been trying to give him the benefit of the doubt but my gut reaction was not good and he has done nothing to convince me otherwise. watching the cummunity cup alone depressed me.

The missus points out that bobby got us relegated (i hang on to the loss of alcaraz and ramis as being the real reason) but i cry when i see how he has so quickly dismantled all the hard work of the last 4 years – and with that squad we should be kicking ass! just remember how our b team destroyed championship opposition last year!

we look like a mid table championship side.

Skippy – now there is a balst from the past. didn’t he used to have on a khaki military style over coat? frequently walking around the parish church area in the early 70’s.

I hope you are right and that we should not read anything into it because I was depressed after watching the hoof ball tactics.
I know there has to be a compromise and too often we conceded from our own mess created by passing it accross the back. And I have to say defensively we looked better but amongst others I thought Crainey was guilty of hoofing it far too often.
With that kind of play there is no point having gifted players like Maloney because he is just bypassed.

My thoughts after the game was that we had looked like a championship club rather than misplaced premier league team.

I am prepared to be patient and accept that it was a meaningless game for us.

                    I’ll throw one in.

May 2012 Dave whelan tells the world that Fergie was going to retire at the end on the next season (2013) due to ill health and that David Moyes was going to take over.

Fergie denies this (as do Man U)- more becuase they dont want their share price to be impacted.

David Moyes doesnt sign a new contract at Everton.

RM refuses to talk about his future.

I’m not a conspiracy theory person – but something does smell a little!

The training facility at Wrightington is in West Lancs and it is West Lancs District Council who will determine the consent. Wigan MBC will be a consultee (as it borders their area). Therefore it is not the councillors of Wigan who will need to be lynched

Im looking forward to next season already. The past couple of years have seemed like a chore to go – even though i will always go. The championship i know, will definitely renew my passion. again.

how could the end of last season have been a “chore” that period will live with forever as pur utter pleasure. Football of the highest quality!

For me, I had predicted that the congestion would do us in and then the Swansea game when James MacArthur (and by no means do i blame him) missed the simple side foot into the net I said that would be the moment that sent us down.

However, the FA cup was brilliant and we all know how good we can play. I expect all the out of contratc players to go wit the possible exception of Boyce (who could do another year in the Championship). I hope we can keep Ramis (as Alcaraz is at the end of his contract). I expect that MacCarthy will go and i hope (but don’t expect to keep him) Maloney stays but there are some positives.

It will be good to win more games.

players like Golobart, Lee Nichols, Fyvie, Redmond, Mustoe, etc will start to get first team experience. Espinoza is looking better and will benefit from a year in the championship. Watson and Gomez are very good at Championship level. We need to keep callum (and he will benefit from that) and if Kone leaves we need a new stiker. Hopefully JB stays also

Just remember when we played championship sides this year (league and FA cups) with our second teams we were head and shoulders better. Bring it on.

I for one will be celebrating our success.

the sadness is that we could all see the project was working and it was injuries to Alcaraz and Ramis – togther (at the end with Figgy and jean) that was the reason we went down.

Shearings have a banner up (their offices next to the bowling alley) saying £30 return coach to wembley – you could try them.

yes but did you also see him marshalling the lads to come over to the fans after the game? shame he can’t just do it like he did last year – obviously needs 2 solid centre backs around him to bring out his best.

Ben got his body in the way of 2 goal bound shots. He seemed to sit as the middle centre back come sweeper. His vision was good but some of his passing was rusty.

Shame about JB he seemed to have got his mojo back.
