You’re perfectly correct, I’ll try harder with my punctuation next time.
At least my post did not result in a billous tirade of abuse. You must have at least partially sympathised with my opinion.yes – i’m waiting for the avalanche of do do!
surely it was the final pass that was offside and not the fact that he was off side when the initial pass was made. otherwise we would have taken the frrekick from the original off side and not in the box.
Do you not think it’s all been a big game, red nose gets him to look like he’s throughing his dummy out becuase they won’t invest in players. red nose says no we don’t need it, wanchor wayne says i’m leaving if you don’t buy some top players to make me look better. Big fuss, big meeting, new contract and pressure on the yanks to cough up for a few £30m+ players.
it’s not red nose’s fault, he tows the line – we have enough quality coming through and there is no value for money out there.as they stand at the moment, they don’t look like a top 4 club to me. i think they may well struggle to get into Europe this year. if that happens it should accelerate the implosion. Can’t wait, it’s just what English football needs.
top 4:
Chelsea, City, Arsenal and then who – Spurs? There is a team in there trying to get out. The last 2 games showed that it was starting to happen but we seemed to have taken a step back. I am still 100% behind RM and i think he will come good (though i should say i’m a lone voice in my houshold).
Yesterday Citeh did nothing to impress, they only won becuase we cocked up. You can see Citeh have the potential and it will happen. The same can be seen of latics if you look below the surface.
Chin up – he’ll get there!
was it not his brother steve who played in the reserves against Balckburn?
Wat about Latics playing a warm up game with North Korea
WA v NK
di santos chasing shadows give it a rest, u know nothing about football with that statement,
No course not, I cant be a super fan. He had half an hour of football and you all think he is Messi. What did he ACTUALLY do. apart from run. Like i said he looked ok but not as good as everyone is making out. To put so much pressure on him to perform so early is just silly. To say i nothing about football is laughable, if only you knew..[/quote]
What did he do? For one he put a sublime cross in which should have resulted in a goal! That was just one.
Hugo was good and alcaraz mom to me. I blame diame for the goal. He didn’t put the effort into the attempt to tackle Henderson and then just let him go. No attempt to chase him and keep the pressure on.
But encouraging nonetheless. Though having seen man city against Blackburn, I am worried about the scoreline next week.
But confident we will be good by October.
why would he hand in a transfer request and loose all his bonuses?
he’s already come out and said that wigan wouldn’t stand in his way if a bigger club comes knocking and that is well reported.
why then would he hand in a request?
it’s total bull.
we all know he sees wigan as a stepping stone and that has been obvious to everyone, so lets accept that. provided he keeps playing with the correct attitude and scoring goals like the one against arsenal then i can live with it!
Buzzing – i think we are in for some tough times but i am optomistic and i just hope we keep the faith with bobby. looks like the making of a good team. good article. just one small thing the Jimmy Mac’s are McCarthy and McArthur.
am i missing something – i thought charlie’s first touch was rusty last night. too many time when he was receiving the ball it went too far and was taken from him, doesn’t worry me for the season but i didn’t think he was as good as normal – but just rusty.
also, jimmy mac (y) is going to get sent off several times this season!
probably have to be West brom or Newcastle or wolves. Really which one of the established teams would want him as a midfielder? central defence maybe but he ain’t the midfielder that he thinks he is.
Big thanx to him though and good luck.
i was at the portsmouth game in the east stand (es6).
towards the end the frustration was clearly getting out in the noise (and yes they probably deserved it) but yesterday we were 2 down and I for one didnt see what was coming. but even then the noise was positive (because they were trying) and titus’s drive forward and wide shot (shortly after his proffessional fould and booking on Theo) seemed to get things going even more.
The point is we played our part in the game and that must have helped.
I’ve never seen the east stand take so long to clear after a game.
hard choice, caldwell is to good to leave out but….
